This morning when I had bathed I got dressed and realised I had put my knickers on inside out then I realised that I have odd socks on!

Rang Solicitor at 11.30am and despite a phone call from her at 10.50am she had heard nothing from council. 11.50am she rang me to say that the council have agreed to postpone the appeal date until 17th January 2008 and our stay in the flat until 21st January 2008:T Now the solicitor hasn't agreed to the leaving date as she feels that IF I lose the appeal I would need more time to find a property to rent. But this now means that I can go to psycholgists appt on 3rd January and that his report will be used as evidence:A .

MM rang me also to say that he and RW had had a meeting with the CEO of DBC about my situation this morning too!

Don't know about the Knickers, mot, but my mum always told me that wearing odd socks was a sign of good luck - seems to be working for you.:rotfl:

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I am just so relieved to be able to go to see someone who can help me. Its amazing that, until I got into this situation I had no help, now I have help from nearly everywhere:A

Although I have your thread emailed to me I just had to post. I am so pleased your eviction has been postponed, you deserve a wonderful 2008 after all the brown smelly stuff you have all been through.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)
