    Thanks Kisto,

I have glanced at the last paragraph and will read in more detail later. I-T has done a letter for the previous occupiers of the big house that LL was renting out to confirm that they knew it was for sale when I moved in - just need to get them to sign it.

  • Yup - but having said that - it is interesting to speculate however well prepared the appleants were, me thinks not very when you analyse their representatives. Also the other thing that I noted was that most decisions went 3 to 2 so cut and dried

during the last year she has only lost 2 appeals

    Out of how many?

Has she given any indication when the date will be set, and so when she can give you the file? I assume she has set the process in motion for it to be copied now, rather than at that point.

And surely Shelter can request a copy of a file? I'm sure I remember copying files for their use - I can certainly remember posting the things out to Martha at Chester!

There were only 6 cases or so listed Floss and in her email yesterday she said that a date has yet to be set and once that date is decided I will get a copy of my file. Shelter can have a copy but as we've decided to keep Shelter in the background they will have to copy my copy. Due to Shelter never having won a case against the LA the advisor there has said she will help me with the case but I will do my own representation along with whoever I can get to come with me - I-T for one and maybe someone from MIND or the counsellor from 'The Journey' who I went to see earlier this year - I'm not sure who would be best:confused:

HA Support Worker yesterday suggested that I apply for DLA also (the lower rate) due to my back and hip problem as I have the Consultants report - LHO hasn't seen this so perhaps I could use this at appeal too?

Hi Hon, am still keeping abreast with events, just want to pass on my immense respect for the way you are coping with such an awful situation. I don't feel able to help with the legalities, just wanted to send a big hug and let you know we're all behind you. xx

Phoned Drs to make appt to go and discuss in more depth - she's off sick!

I-T not replied to G'morning texts so I rang him at 8.20am as I thought he'd be late for work! Apparently he's been up most of the night and isn't going to work today just cathcing up on sleep - knowing him he will have been doing something for this by way of the letter for the Counsellor and it will have kept him awake all night:A
