So if it's not about the money, I take it you'll be giving any compensation to charity then?
I think this is a wind-up. I also think it's interesting that the thing that came out of the juice could also be described as :spam: - much like this post.
Nice try, fake hindu man.0 -
And I'm also pleased to see a new forum user - D. Brooker; I wonder if Dave Brooker's account got deleted? HA HA!!0

Mate, i wouldn't even mind to give the whole of the compensation to charity, and if you think this is a wind-up, sorry to say but you can keep your thoughts with you.i am looking for replies with some suggestions and not from people like you who want to laugh on someone's grief.I have been really honest in what i have said so far, and its not my problem if you don't want to believe me. There are enough kind people on this board who will be able to provide me with some better suggestions. Also please watch your language when you say "Fake hindu man".0 -
sorry i just dont see it happening.
for one thing would a packaging plant have ham and pressed juices in the same section?
i would expect some form of straining of the juice even at packaging level to catch any large parts of fruit/vegetable matter to be caught0 -
I can clearly see a few people thinking that this is a scam, but all i would say is, it really has happened, and as an consumer i think i did the right thing in letting consumers like me know. I am not after money, but its a clear matter of principle that if we trust the supermarkets and pay a bit extra for stuff like this, i would atleast like to be compensated for being a regular customer of juices for over a year. If i had to scam it, i would have done it ages ago, but i am certainly against things like that. I would love to pay for what i get.
I would like to apologise to everyone, who think i am taking the cover of religion, to scam tesco, but even if the religion wasn't the case, i am sure anyone in my shoes would do the same thing.
People who are wondering how this thing managed to pop out of the carton, i have an explanation. When the carton was being emptied, i noticed something blocking the flow of juice from the carton, i shaked the carton a few times and pourred the juice untill the last drop came out, and suddenly this thing just squeezed out of the hole.
I'm going to post this again, incase you missed it...
Are you sure it is ham??? I'm NOT a veggie and it doesn't look anything like ham!
It looks like mould that has formed at the top of the carton (hence the hole), and is usually really 'malliable', so will just slop out of the carton if/when it becomes dislodged... I've had a very similar deposit come out of a juice carton before (my 'fault' - was out of date and had been exposed to the air)April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 -

The same one that puts double question marks at the end of sentences, just like 'Stan Morris'.0 -
