HELP!!! Tesco pure Juice with Ham slice!!

Are you sure it is ham??? I'm NOT a veggie and it doesn't look anything like ham!
It looks like mould that has formed at the top of the carton (hence the hole), and is usually really 'malliable', so will just slop out of the carton if/when it becomes dislodged... I've had a very similar deposit come out of a juice carton before (my 'fault' - was out of date and had been exposed to the air)April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 -

The difference being that looks far more likely than a very thick piece of ham managing to come out of a tiny hole a fraction of the size0 -
I was going to comment on the scenario but decided against it, please come back and let us know how you get on with your compensation claim, it will be simple to test the meat to determine how long it may or may not have been in the carton.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

Contact Tesco customer service by email and enviromental health.
I'd respectfully suggest you keep your account factual and avoid hyperbole like "tragic incident" it may have been upsetting, offensive to your religious beliefs but it wasn't tragic and will actually detract from your complaint if you over do it.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Was the 'ham' actually inside the juice carton and magically made its way through the narrow spout, or was it stuck somehow to the outside of the carton and detached itself?
Afaik the filling process of these cartons is mechanised and wouldn't be done in an area (or even a building) where ham is packed.0 -
I'm taking those pictures to the pub with me this afternoon ... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Gone ... or have I?0

If ever there was a case for a substance to be tested this is one. I think if I was a solictor (ambulance chaser or otherwise) I think I would politely decline the offer to take up your complaint.;)Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

As would they all
The fact the OP says about going to the paper shows him up for the scammer he is, he clearly hopes tesco will pay him to hush up
Im also sure everyone would agree that his behaviour is utterly shameful and an embarassment to those of his religion0 -
I can clearly see a few people thinking that this is a scam, but all i would say is, it really has happened, and as an consumer i think i did the right thing in letting consumers like me know. I am not after money, but its a clear matter of principle that if we trust the supermarkets and pay a bit extra for stuff like this, i would atleast like to be compensated for being a regular customer of juices for over a year. If i had to scam it, i would have done it ages ago, but i am certainly against things like that. I would love to pay for what i get.
I would like to apologise to everyone, who think i am taking the cover of religion, to scam tesco, but even if the religion wasn't the case, i am sure anyone in my shoes would do the same thing.
People who are wondering how this thing managed to pop out of the carton, i have an explanation. When the carton was being emptied, i noticed something blocking the flow of juice from the carton, i shaked the carton a few times and pourred the juice untill the last drop came out, and suddenly this thing just squeezed out of the hole.0
