His modus operandi is predictable and boring

Got a lot of thankyou's though didn't he.

Is what he did and more boring than say someone who has a website devoted to Tesco miss-prices and moaning about Tesco's?

OP come back OP, I need to know was it ham or mould? I personally think having mould in my food/drink is worse than ham.

I used to be a veggie myself so not making light of your sitution, but it's harder and harder to be sure that products are meat free, for example did you know some sweets have meat extract and McDonalds were found to be frying their chips in animal fat.

If you buy pre packed, pre processed foods there's always this risk.

Clearly spam, and isn't it libellous spam at that?

If ever there was a case for a substance to be tested this is one. I think if I was a solictor (ambulance chaser or otherwise) I think I would politely decline the offer to take up your complaint.;)

Again you are putting down Solicitors. I help people in my job - dont much care about how much I earn I do not practice PI to which you refer to as ambulance chasing. In this forum you should be nice to all people.

However, I am a veggie and am astonished that came out of the carton. I would assume although I do not know that tests would be carried out to see how the ham managed to get in there. The OP may be flumoxed if that production line does not deal with meat. The only other explanation can you that it was placed in there by a staff member joking around. I would not be happy. Not sure what the best way to proceed is.

Not quiet, the op could have put it in there,

If there was found not to be a problem at the production line, surely Tescos argument would be the op could have done it. Which would be very diffiuclt to prove otherwise.

Not entirely sure that this is 100% genuine. The skin sample looks too untainted to have been marinating in tomato juice for some weeks. Good try on though.
:o Keep trying.........................what else is there to do? :o

Hefty compensation for what? Has someone died?

    Tragic? eh?

Tesco (or more likely the actual manufacturer) might get a fine if that REALLY did come out of the carton, however you should quite rightly get laughed out of court and get to pay your own costs if you try and get compensation.

They will counter sue you for fraudulent misrepresentation and libel if you even try to go to a newspaper with this scam.

Yuk indeed. Hindu or not, I'm not buying tomato juice from Tesco's. Hate the damned place anyway. I had the pleasure of looking at a member of staff's highly visible thong last time I was up there, which would have been ok under different circumstances. She was about 50 with a fake tan and must have been about a size-22.
