  • As far as I am aware, the guarantee is for any room as long as the room you find on days inn and the room you find on another site are identical. You also need to be careful as soem sites offer you a free breakfast which could give days inn an escape route as both deals have to be on a like for like basis.
    Hope this helps.

I'm staying at a days inn tonight so will post how I get on.

ps when I originally claimed they refused the claim but after a few emails they gave in. If you persist they will normally cave in.

Whitestar - I got my Days Inn comparison through e-bookers...

Barriejohn - hope it all goes well tonight - I'm off to NY this weekend - then home for a weekend and then to London for a free night with Days ... and 3 x friends so hopefully there'll be no fuss about the free rooms...

Went to the Ramada Hyde park on Friday 26th.

Checked in late-11:30pm and the night staff tried to give me a double room as opposed to an Executive double.

Got the executive room 751 after he took a copy of the original booking.

Check out was OK, no charge. :j
  • Well stayed in Days Inn Westminster on Friday night and it was ok but we were stuck in a basement room. As we went straight out once we got there and set off early in the morning we weren't bothered.

Saturday night, stayed at Ramada Hyde Park and were given an Executive room no trouble at all. I must admit the service in Hyde Park was excellent

Notting Hill Gate station is only a 7 minute walk from Ramada if you go the right way or an hour if you went the way I did.

Thinking of trying Days Inn for next April for a weekend!

Do any other chains offer these deals?

Ps plenty of plces to eat around the area of the Ramada hotel, I can recommend the Tex Mex place up the road

  • Hello...

After reading through the many pages of this thread, I thought I would book a hotel in London - the Ramada Docklands one, for this weekend 3rd November for one night.

I managed to find it cheaper on another website, so after reading through all the terms and conditions etc, I filled out a claim form to get a free night.

Well, just heard from the reservations desk for Ramada, and they have told me that my claim in not applicable - because the hotel must be in the US or CANADA!!!

This is new to me, as I am sure I read the terms and conditions, and many of the other messages on here are of people booking hotels in the UK and it worked fine!!

Not happy!!! Any help would be very much appreciated, or am I too late for this offer?!

    Thanks x

Unfortunately that is now correct. They changed the T&C's from "Worldwide" to US or Canada.

There may be bargains to be had through Days Inn as their T&C's do not state Us or Canada only.

Here's a post I made summarizing the offer.
The T&C's for Ramada.com are there.

hi all - update from New York Ramada Plaza - got the first night free with no problem at all. Also, they are currently doing a lot of renovation at the Ramada (I think starting at the top and working down). We were on 35th floor and the view was absolutely fantastic. Room was great as well. Staff were friendly and polite. Absolutely no complaints. The landing on 22nd floor (when the lift stopped) looked a bit ropey but the renovated landings were absolutely fine. :j

    Hi everyone

Going to London in mid- November and trying to make use of this.

I’m aware of the ‘breakfast trap’ and, because of it, ignored some lower prices already.

Now, I located a lower rate at HotelPronto and there’s no mention whatsoever of breakfast.

I just need to confirm whether or not HotelPronto bookings would be accepted under the Days Inn guarantee.

    Any pointers?

    Thanks

  • I had a successful hotelpronto one this week, if it is the days in westminster you are going to, the website just lists the breakfast but has no price. I argued that I thought it meant it was free and they caved in.
