Could have been worse.
They could have rung you at 2AM!
I take it all went well with Gatwick?0 -
all was fine with gatwick, no hassle - could have missed the flight though!

I would have done that from day one if it wasn't for that "governed by US law" thing in their T&Cs.
However if red breast doesn't stop his silly games I'll sue Jarvis UK directly, as the fact they've honoured other free stays at Chester but not mine is an obvious admission of liability.
I've already done one small claim against Ramada Jarvis UK. As soon as they received it I got an e-mail (several weeks after I put the claim in - bearing in mind they are supposed to approve it within 4 hours) saying they'd approved my free stay. Now that's magic!... funny how their stance suddenly changed upon the receipt of court documents. Still gonna pursue the claim though as I want the court fee back too.0 -

If I want to book free nights in Canada with Ramada do I use the expedia.com website as opposed to the .co.uk one as the comparison site; bearing in mind I am a UK citizen?? Think the obvious answer is yes but just wanted to check before I head down that road...
RedBern... was getting the Free nights in NY easier than the fiasco of the UK nights that some of us got? Did you need to provide screen grabs etc?
Off to Canada next Summer and this seems like a good way to save some cash... Anyone actually used Ramada/Days Inn free nights in Canada or US sucessfully??
All help/advice much appreciated...The competing rate on another website must be for the same hotel, for the same dates, for the same room type, for the same number of guests, in the same currency and must be publicly viewable and bookable via the Internet.
Therefore, use www.expedia.ca for Canadian hotels to ensure the price is quoted in Canadian dollars. This space has been intentionally left blank0 -
Cheers GlennTheBaker didn't know expedia.ca existed! Every day is a school day! :beer:0

didn't have to provide screen shot for my Ramada deal in New York - it was fairly straightforward. However I'm not there yet - going on Saturday so will let you know...
I've also got 3 x rooms in Days Inn for the weekend of 10th Nov - so that should be interesting - not sure if anyone has used the Days offer in the UK?Bern :j0 -

Hi
Does Days Inn have the same guarantee of a free room if you can find it cheaper?
Im looking for a triple room central london for 10Nov 1night, but there still all coming in around £145 which maybe for London isnt expensive, but it is for me. Especially as we won't be checking in till about 8pm. The only trouble is im going with my eldery parents who would want something nice, probably 4*. Would the guarantee just cover standard dble/twin rooms?
What website would I need to book them on.
Sorry for all the questions. Im new to buying online0
