Re my previous message and the interpretation as to whether it could be construed as a 'threat' or not.
My message was outlining a potential course of action and the use of additional resources at our disposal to secure the result that we wish to achieve.
It is the way the information provided is used that will determine whether there is a threat or not.
It is down to the individual to use diplomacy and common courtesy whilst outlining their concerns and the wording in any email / letter / one to one conversation should reflect this at all times whilst informing the recipient of the next course of action you intend to pursue - no threat but good communication.
As with many ambiguities / anomalies within the English language it is the readers interpretation that determines what they think of the letter.
A perfect example of this is a simple sentence of seven words.......
I NEVER SAID HE BEATS HIS WIFE
So simple yet it has seven potential interpretations.
Good luck again to all who are pursueing their reservations.0 -

I've tried quite a few nights, over days in advance, and expedia quote the same price. Is there some specific way to get the Expedia >7days lower price?
Thanks. Rob0 -

Expedia seemed to have now aligned their prices ( for now!!) so it is no longer possible. sorry!
I've had success using www.baholidays.co.uk so try there0 -
Since my last post on this subject, unfortunately I have had the same response and they have magically matched my rate. I have however found a great deal that may cheer you guys up, especially those who love the delights of a bakery. The Don Miller's Bakery in Derby are offering a weeks supply of freshly baked bread for free if you can find a cheaper loaf of the same type in your local supermarket. Yum Yum Enjoy !!!!0

I'm slightly concerned that MDP knows me but I can't figure out who they are! This space has been intentionally left blank0 -
well - I've had a result for Ramada Hyde Park for 10 November - however I was a bit giddy and only got 1 free room when booking for a group. Plan B therefore was put into place and I (or my friends!) have booked 4 x Days Inn at Waterloo - had 1 response so far which was a positive - but the other 3 I'm still waiting for. I (we) sent reminders yesterday.
Will let you know.......
Plan B in full swing - had 3 replies so far - awaiting the last one - 3 results! Cheap weekend for 8 in London coming up..Bern :j0
