Big hugs to all those in need esp CY and Valli's sister xx
Did some jobs this morning, load of laundry line dried, walked to school and back twice, kiddies scoffing a chicken dinner and bag of odds and sods dropped at the chazza. Oh and made an overpayment on our mortgage - my latest obsession lol. Hope I feel more energised tomorrow, have a day out planned with my mum for her birthday.
Have lovely evenings all xMFW

I'm tackling my frog in parts. I have decided to scan as much paperwork as possible, so I can save it all to disk and get rid of my metal filing box.
I have started on the pile of carp that needed to actually be filed. So I can now shred/burn it all.
I don't think I'll scan receipts thou, the verdict on MSE on whether a shop would accept a scanned rather than an original receipt is 50/50. I only tend to keep the important ones thou.

Bathroom is now glinting. Tea has been eaten and kitchen has remained clean! (BF usually ends up feeding the floor when he cooks, I've never known anyone able to ping a piece of broccoli so far across the room while chopping)
Had an email from the gas & leccy people today, requesting a meter read. The website got confused with my gas reading, as it is exactly the same as the last reading :rotfl:the only thing on gas is the heating, which we've not had on, and the hot water tap. We prefer to use a kettleful of boiled water for the dishes so haven't used any gas at all. Doubt gas company will believe me thou, but they are welcome to come and do their own reading.

Have friend request from US soldier (apparently) in Kabul (apparently) 2 pictures on profile - on one he's holding an American football; on the other a VERY big gun! lolDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Morning peeps
Getting my hair done this morning, which is very exciting. Let's see what, if anything, she can do with my bird's nest!
Got to run - back later - leaving a sack of hugs, sticks and spoons for those in need xxx0 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok. Bare minimum getting done here but I'm going to look at the list in a mo.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all!
Help!!!!! House is shambolic, dd2 is having a friend round for tea that's she's never had round before which means a parent that has never been to our building site of a house will be collecting said friend and I'm freaking out. Arghhhhh!
Crisis cleaning here I come.
On the plus side, I've booked myself in for a riding lesson today at half one. Not been on a horse for seven years and I can't wait!!!!
Now to clean.......0 -
Morning all
Biscuit the person coming round is a mum of a child your dd likes, she is not inspecting your home or judging you by its current building progress. Don't fret too much, she will most likely be in awe of the fact you have so much going on and you actually manage to organise getting your child to school in the first place.
Got told by Dh last night that the lounge looks bigger! When we first started kondoing he was quite negative and wanted to hang on to most things just in case they were needed later But now space is appearing the most unexpected things are happily heading for the CS. He's even managing to let go of things that we broken but kept for sentimental reasons - we had his late dads broken mower in the shed for 5 years for no other reason than he felt he was letting his dad's memory down if he got rid of it.
Got a pile of stuff ready to do another CS run hopefully this weekend, need to take mils birthday pressies round later plus want to finish the ironing after work. Haven't had a look what today's list is but I'll tackle that this afternoon.
Hugs, good wishes, posi vibes, sticks and spoons where needed.
Coping and healing vibes for CY, valli + sister and anyone else who needs them
Have a good day all.SPC~12 ot 124

Mrs MP - agree that memories are in us, not in things.
I have actually managed to do all the dailies and got a washload on the line. From the list I have plumped the cushions although LittleyDog is now busy rearranging them.
Paid stuff now.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning everyone.
Valli - my son's friend went to Alaska this year and sent a photo of himself standing in a store with a huge rifle. Apparently they sell guns in the supermarkets there:eek:
Biscuit Monster - have great fun - I predict a sore behind tomorrow:rotfl:
Mrs M - your DH sounds like mine - can't get him to throw anything out. He has a pair of green football socks which must be 40 years old. They are full of holes but he keeps them because they were given to him by a friend & colleague he played 5-a-side with. The poor man suffered a massive heart attack during a game and died before the ambulance arrived:sad: They just live at the bottom of his sock drawer - I doubt he ever sees them...
On the flying front - dailes done - last wash load is in machine:T one frog eaten(did several last night too) now to start on today's list.0
