Evening all,
Well as well as cleaning the girls room this morning, I've tidied every room, hoovered and mopped. The place is looking much better.
Thanks LW for asking about the riding. It went great! I remembered a lot, and even managed some cantering (a bit scrappy, but better than i thought it would be).
Right, I'm treating myself to a lazy evening xx0 -
Well done, BM. We're a bit messy here. But I think given time spent in minor injuries units and hospitals, plus college, I'll cut myself some slack.
I have homework too
Tomorrow I'm going to try whizz round the whole house. It's mainly bits of clothes n stuff to put away, and a good wipe round. Also want to pop out to Mr S for some bits and browse the TU sale. DD still needs a new pe tshirt
DS went to school today :T he seems happy. The learning mentor / wellbeing lady came to see him (presumably to check it wasn't me that bashed him ) and gave him a sticker. His friends helped him, one brought his book at "silent reading" time and another brought him pencils when needed. Bless! He's been quite the celebrity lol. But he's tired of telling people what happened, he said "mum even people I've told already, keep asking again". Lol. We need to ask his teacher what he can do instead of pe tomorrow though.
Tonight I'm going to make pack up then relax for a bit!Bossymoo

BM well done on doing something that you enjoy, think we should all follow your example. Oh and glad young Bossy is on the mend.
Kaz school is 7 miles away from home and work is 6 miles in the opposite direction so there is no way he could get there in time on the bike. The joys of living in the country. He enjoys the job, it gives him valuable experience and a bit of his own money. Its just a pain for me!
Been out on the bike and done my gym class. Fed everyone and washed up, hoovered and dusted the LR, washed and dried a load of whites, walked the dog and done some paid stuff. Bedtime.
Night all x0 -

We now have a scrape down the side of the car, the driver's side body indicator is no more and the driver's door has a nasty creak when you open it which is getting worse very quickly. We took all the nescessary details and there was a witness so we've contacted our insurance company, plus some photos etc. What blew OH and I away was her attitude. 'You should have given way. Let's call it knock and knock.' I don't f****** think so.
Valli, that Level 1 list is a lifesaver for me today. Thank you.
Honey Bear, my DH is paying £1000 for the bodywork repairs to his car, and it sounds as if yours is worse.
Ditto re Level 1 lists. I am struggling with a Virtual Learning Environment, a pile of books and papers and an ageing brain and simply haven't got time to do more than the absolute basicsOn the other hand, since DH is out playing trains all day (and got himself on one of BBC Midlands Today FB photos) the house doesn't get untidy.
I have been out for a lovely meal this evening with the group from the course I did in the last academic year, and got home to find DH fast asleep in bed. Awwww, he must have been shattered after a full day at work and then his BSL course.
Dizzy, are you pleased with your hairdo?
CY texted me last night to say that she is back in hospital - she's not happy about it but knows it's the best place to be atm.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed x Will be popping in when I can, but...0 -

Morning all
Hugs good wishes and coping vibes to all who need them.
Valli he doesn't sound at all genuine to me.
Honeybear glad you are both alright, her attitude stinks!
Had full house for tea last night, dd2 came over to wish mil happy birthday so they all end up staying for tea, then ds1 had a friend over for drinks plus ds2s gf was here when I got home from work so I quickly ended up rustling up food for 11 just as we were eating dd3 plus fiance nipped in on way back from mils but they only wanted a cuppa and hug each.
I'm busy all day today so will have to play catch up later, certainly need to do the kitchen once I get time as repair man is round tomorrow.SPC~12 ot 124

Morning all
Sorry can't remember what I was going to say so Hugs, sticks and spoons to all.
I'm supposed to be out at work collecting books but I'm waiting on my phone charging. DD is in half day today (its the open evening from 4pm and they need to set up) so is treating herself to lunch from somewhere using her pocket money. I have a Mr A delivery coming this afternoon (costing me 46p delivery & carrier bags due to the price guarantee vouchers) then more work this evening. I still need to order Zacks food, but I plan on doing that later.
DD is also off tomorrow so we'll be out to the dentists for 9am for check-ups. I also need to remember to book her an eye test as we got a letter yesterday saying she was overdue...could have sworn she wasn't due for one but since she goes to Mr A its not a problem fitting it in
We'll also be starting the Christmas shopping tomorrow....only the cards as we buy mum & dad/uncle/brother/sister/special couple type ones. If we look tomorrow and find ones we like then they're done and dusted with, if not we still have half term and another inset day in November to get them:rotfl: There's not much choice for "Dad and step-mum" ones so they can take a while to find.
Personal:
Clear a folder of papers which need scanning/shredding
Order dog food etc
Mr A delivery due 1-2pm
Deal with mince from last night
Start shopping list for tomorrow so I don't forget anything.

Phone is nearly charged so time for me to get some cough medicine and then get sorted to go out. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning,
Hoping for a "back to normal" day here. I've folded some laundry, emptied the DW and just made a nice big omelette that will do for breakfast and lunch - save me cooking twice
Need to pop out but can't be long - hoping DS new sling will arrive today. We didn't get on with the adult one I folded up and stitched - it was still too deep and his arm kept falling out. He's using the annoying foam one from the hospital. There is a lady on eBay who makes child size ones in lovely fabrics, so we ordered a "hot wheels" ones and sent measurements - she's already made it up for him :T
Other jobs include tidying the garage / den room. We lifted down the Halloween box from the loft yesterday to see what we have before I see anything in the shops  I must have tidied it last year because all the old / small outfits are gone and there are two new unused ones - now I remember granny picked them up when they were being sold off in November... But of course the only place to keep it now is in the garage, so I need to make space!
Gentle hugs and "home soon" vibes to CY and everyone struggling with health problems xx
Right, I'm setting off now - sooner I go the sooner I'll be home!Bossymoo
