Thumbs up to Master Moo
My consultant doesn't want to see me again unless I am still having trouble with an irritating staple in my big toe, in which case he will whip it out under a local anaesthetic
I have not done much flying and I am beginning to panic about the amount of work I still have to do in the coming week. Fortunately DH will be out playing with two big visiting trains for a week, starting on Wednesday, so I shall be able to work to my own timetable. I plan to go into college tomorrow and borrow a couple more books from the library.
Good night all x0 -
Been to the cinema (Bridget Jones's Baby) with work colleagues - really enjoyed it, and got a coulee of errands done on the way home.

Had a good day yesterday with lots of flingage. DSD's bedroom cupboard ripped apart, sorted and tidied away. Lots of carp binned and more space made, so delighted with my efforts. I've also managed to pass on my nursery furniture and loads of baby bits to family recently delivered of or expecting babies which has freed up loads of room in the attic :j
Small people have just arrived, so off to dress them...0 -
Morning all,
I am in, but flapping manically rather than flying. I wish I could shake this darned lethargy. I managed to eat several frogs yesterday which was mightily pleasing.
Out with DS this morning, then I will be flopping on the Flylady sofa later to properly catch up
Hugs all round xxMFW

Morning!
Fairly peaceful night here. DS still asleep and hasn't woken for pain relief all night :T I've got some stuff to dose him up with when he's eaten.
We have a reading workshop at school today so I'll ask the teacher if he can stay too - or if the yr3 one next week will have the same info (I could do that one instead).
Apart from that I'm going to have a quiet day with DS, and catch up with a bit of laundry and S&S and tidy downstairs.
DS kart sold for £46 in the end, but they are on hol this week and can't collect till next Mon. Part of me thinks they should have asked before bidding if it can be kept for a week for them, but never mind. Anyway, he is well pleased - and it's more than half what I paid for it, we were hoping for £30 :T with any luck he'll be ok to use it on a quad bike experience at CP when we go next month.Bossymoo

Morning all.
Good news Iona
Glad Master Bossy is ok
Had the weirdest dream last night. Was flying to Mexico on a Thai airline. Got held up at gate as husband's seat had been reallocated a business class so they had to find him another. I had no seat number on my boarding pass and was worried we'd be sitting apart. Then when it came to my turn the guy said "congratulations you've been randomly selected to be upgraded to First Class!" It was rather odd tho with a urinal in the cabin with a curtain you could pull around it!! And people had their dogs with them. The entertainment came via a virtual reality headset and my DH started fighting with a bear in the aisle while I was shouting at him to "Stop it ! It's not real! They'll throw us out of 1st if you carry on like this!" And there was more... God only knows where all this came from:rotfl:
