Which is considered best, PS3 or Xbox 360??

Am in the market for either an xbox 360 or PS3, which does everyone think is better? I've had a 360 already and loved it bud had to sell it. I've heard that although the PS3 has the superior hardware the 360 has the better games development meaning better looking games.

Opinions are encouraged!

another way we say it our house is that the ps3 is the ONLY console to have ever met demnand all others have been that popular they sell out fast and the ps3 has not.

Thats just crazy talk, the Wii has no games I'm interested in and is a console geared towards 2 or more players, its got to be a PS3 or 360 for me I'm afraid!

To me there arent enough really great games yet out for the ps3 to make it a really great console. No doubt that will change over time.

We have in our house a Ps3, 360, Wii and psp. Comparing only the PS3 and 360, i think the 360 still has the edge - particularly given its price advantage.

I must admit I'm leaning toward the 360 again even though I hat M$! I think I've got a tough choice on my hands!

Do you have a budget, do you have any friends who has a ps3 or a 360 that you could test out, personally id get a 360, the 360 has halo 3, mass effect, splinter cell conviction which are xbox exclusive, ive got a 360 and im happy i got one, i wouldnt swap it for a ps3 at all

No budget, money isn't an issue. The main game I will be playing is Pro Evolution Soccer and that was always better on the PS2 than the Xbox. I'm used to the Sony controller for PES so thats one point in Sony's corner and I'm sure the games will get better, but I've had a 360 and loved it and the games.

if price doesnt matter buy both
seriously weigh up what you want,if you like the PS controlletr and only want to play multiformat games then get that.
if oyu want free online play get a PS.
if you want halo 3 get a 360.
ive never played the ps3 in great amount so cant give comment on real life experience

Does the PS3 have wifi built in?? The games I'm most interested in are PES, Resident Evil, Burnout, Need For Speed and Tekken so at this point I'm guessing the PS3 is the one to go for.
