Under the terms of our lease we all pay the same Cumbria - even though the block is a mixture of one and two bedroom flats, plus one three bedroomed.
Work was steady today. Bought my monthly toiletries at Boots lunchtime -£24.30 but I doubled up on some bits as they were on special offer. Also bought birthday cards in M&S - some of them they sell are really good value and are nice with it.
Hope everyone has a good evening.Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

The M&S outlet near me sells some lovely cards SA I often pick,up a few. Glad work was ok even though boss man is back.
Not long to NewYork, Maceys at Christmas time , I feel excited am I am not going there , but down under. I am very excited about Christmas events outside, Carols in the Park , and a Carol service at the opera house. Eh wishing my life away. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I know - I always feel a bit disgruntled about it but I did sign up for it I suppose. At the end of the day it's for the whole building not individual flats.
Looking forward to NY and I bet you can't wait till Oz! My job tomorrow is to see if I can book our Thanksgiving Dinner yet. The last time we were there we went to a lovely restaurant and DD fancies going there again. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I hope the bill isn't too expensive. It must be a bit unsettling not knowing how much it will be.
It's good that you've got New York to look forward to.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thanks Hairy.
I tried to book the NY restaurant for Thanksgiving Dinner but they're not taking bookings that far ahead yet so I'll keep an eye on it. Eleven weeks tomorrow before we go!:j. Doesn't sound that far away now!
I biught a new power steam iron today. My current iron is getting on a bit now and isn't as good as it was. In Martin's weekly email there was a code for 20% off on the Morphy Richards website and a list of products that worked out the cheaper than those on other sites. The power steamer was reduced 40% down to £65.99 then with the code it ending up costing me just over £57. Nice and compact too and not as heavy as some of them!:T
I winged my monthly Santander interest and Cashback of £31.05 over to the Ad Hoc Savings. Also have withdrawn just over £21 from PA today and £ 3.23 fron topcashback so that will go on too when in the bank. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Where has the weekend gone?!:(
Had an impromptu drink after work with a friend on Thursday evening which was a nice catch up and we had a good chat. Then got in from working late at work on Friday night to find a letter summoning me for jury service at an inquest from Wednesday! the letter was dated on the 6th so they don't give you much notice! I could have been away on a two week holiday abroad for all they knew! Now have to break the good news to the boss tomorrow.
Not long been in from a nice couple of hours with DSis - we went to our local regatta. The weather was beautiful down there - shame the tide was out by the time we arrived. We had something to eat and sat outside with our drinks.
Have also put a claim in to my rail company for my "delay repay" cash that has built up. Should have £22 to come.
Got a bit of ironing to get through but I'll leave that till later on this evening when I'm watching the TV!
Enjoy the rest of Sunday everyone!:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

That is short notice for the jury service, hope your company is supportive. Might be worth checking if there is a policy on payment so you know what you are dealing with.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
