Thank you all so much everyone for your lovely comments. Means a lot to me.
I'm going to do a detailed post tomorrow lunch time at work as I can type more quickly on my PC there and my iPad's playing up a bit again.
I've been trying to read my regular diaries after over a month off - got through a couple and at the moment I'm going through redo's!
Anyway I feel much more positive now I'm back posting -just goes to show that I shouldn't have stopped!

Thanks Hairy - it certainly does!
So have finally pulled myself together – catching up with diaries and realising that others have a lot more on their plates then me has given me a kick up the backside. The oppressive heat seemed to trigger me off. I felt terribly tired –my meds for my underactive thyroid was upped a couple of months ago and I was hoping it would give me a bit more energy, but I don't actually feel any different – still lethargic when I get home from work and it hasn't made a bit of difference to my hair problem! I've been overeating again as well so my weight has gone up which hasn’t helped my mood. Work wise I think because I have an end retirement date is sight, which is getting closer, it's made me feel rather frustrated for the very first time. Don't get me wrong – I'm extremely lucky to have a good job at my age, but I keep thinking of all the things I could be doing instead of working. Anyway I'm stuck for the next couple of years so I'll just have to suck it up!
I've just had a letter through from the managing agent of my flat with regard to the forthcoming repairs/renovations to the block that is carried out every seven years. To be honest for all my YNAB pots for various things, this is the one that I've not catered for. I've got to pull out the paperwork from last time – it was a couple of thousand then if I recall! I have the ad hoc and emergency funds which would cover, but I really should have had a pot for this. I won't know how much yet as quotes have got to come in from various builders but we had a real ding-dong with the freeholder last time as the original quote was ridiculous, although we managed to get them down quite a bit in the end. So I'm not looking forward to another bout!
Other ad hoc things – I've changed my electricity provider to Bulb – even though they're about to increase their prices it should still work out cheaper than my current supplier.
I should also start looking at other things I can decrease – I must contact Sky now that I'm out of my current contract – I currently have the subscription that includes the Boxed Sets but I never watch these so will cancel this. I'm also going to look around re broadband/landline to see what deals are out there.
I've asked DSis what show she wants to see for her birthday and she's decided that the musical on Gloria Estefan floats her boat! I'm waiting on some dates from her and I'll have a look at tickets.
I've also bought the tickets for the annual Christmas Show that we go to every year as there was an early-bird 30% discount on offer. For the rest of the month I've not got anything specifically booked entertainment wise.
Work wise – the boss is back on Monday after a couple of weeks away so things here will liven up then as there's a few things I can't do until he returns.
Anyway I can't wait until it's 5pm and home time and a nice two days away from the office!
Hoping everyone has a good weekend!

Start of new month and new season!:)
Checked up PA today - got a survey and am now up to just over £21. I bought my new annual Senior Railcard yesterday as old one had expired. Got it for £10 rather than £30 because I have a Network Rail season ticket.
I checked on the tickets for the Gloria Estefan musical. What a joke! It doesn't begin till next June! So they can sit on your cash all that time. I told DSis I would get her the ticket for Christmas and she is going to have another look to see what I can book around her actual birthday which is next month!
Didn't do much today except housework! I've a great pile of ironing which I've let mount up the last few weeks so will get going on that tomorrow. Also work my food plan out for the week.
Spoke to DD on the phone today - she was on her way up to Inverness on the train. She's had a mare of a week. Her and her OH went up to Scottish place last week. They were having a fortnight up there as they are having new eco heating installed but the WiFii mast in the area was taken offline so she ended up having to come back home so she could finish some deadlines that she was going to finish up there. She said she's going up to walk/climb and sleep to clear her head and forget about work!
I'm hopefully meeting my friend tomorrow for brunch - and also go for a long walk to clear my cobwebs!
NSD today so a result!:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
