Thanks everyone. I managed about half the ironing! Rest I will do today along with this week's load! The wrist is improving though it was aching a bit by the time I left work on Friday afternoon - I probably overdid a bit.

Well where has last week gone! Work wasn't too bad this week - have been getting into the football - I think it's the patriotism coming through - you would think we had won the World Cup last week round here after our two games - people yelling and cars hooting. I saw the game yesterday at my friend's daughter's and then actually went home and watched the Russia/Croatia game in the evening to see what we would be up against on Wednesday! I usually only watch England games! I'm even shifting my nail appointment on Wednesday evening so I must have it bad!!!!:footie::footie:

Money matters last week - received £4.82 from Topcashcack and £19.40 from PA so this has gone into the Ad Hoc savings account along with this month's interest and Cashback from my 123 account. Have £9.70 currently sitting in PA.

Also going to book the New York flights this week. DD's and my own Virgin Atlantic airmiles are still valid till end November so hopefully will get a bit off the total cost.

This week's spends include cards and a plant to send to DSis's OH who has just had an op.

Tomorrow night I'm off to see the Tina Turner musical with DD - second time lucky!

    Have a good Sunday everyone!

How was Tina Turner musical .? We have new system of receiving work on Monday , I hope it goes ok .

Have the New York flight tickets been booked , plus do you stay on Manhattan Island or elsewhere. Stayed in a few hotels , but one of my favourites is the Salisbury Hotel in a one bedroomed suite on 57th Street, near to Central Park. Not keen on the subway but have used it .

Hope you are fully recovered after your fall.

    Enjoy your weekend.

Thanks everyone. The musical was fab – everyone was dancing and singing at the finale. Adrienne Warren who played Tina was excellent – it's well worth seeing.
