Whenever I'm in the Highlands I could stay there much longer too.
Good luck with your diet. It sounds tough but doable and if you can stick with it the benefits will be huge.

Thanks DIA!😀
What a day today weather wise! Teeming rain and wind! I was going to pop out for a walk lunchtime but decided to stay in and dry. Work is as tedious as ever - won't I be glad when it's time to retire....
Spoke to one of my BFs earlier - she's having a hard time lately - her sister has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and one of her sons, who has a big problem with drugs and has done nothing in his 30 year old life, has been stealing from the family - I feel so much for her. ☹️
Apart from budgeted debits, today was another NSD.DIET
Going ok - I haven't succumbed to any naughty eating! I have a bit of a routine whereby I have the first shake around 10am, the second around 2pm and the the third around 6pm. I then have my portion of actual food around 8pm. So this keeps me within the 12 hour Time Restricted Window. It works well around work hours - I hope that it'll do the same at the weekend. It's funny, I don't feel ravenously hungry - more like I would just like something tasty to eat! The ketone strip was still in the negative zone this morning. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

How awful for your friend. Good job she has you to be there for her - she’ll need you.The weather was dire here today too ☔️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Your poor friend - sounds horrendous for her.I really admire you and the diet - I couldn’t do it....I find SW works when I actually stick to it. So far so good for me this time round.....I did really well over a number of years - lost it and kept it off - it was when I went in hospital and was worried and comfort eating that the rot set in......then I couldn’t break the habit 🤔 but this time I’ll do it 😀🤞👍January spends - £587.582

Thank you for all your kind comments about my friend. She's rallying round - my friend is the main anchor for her sister as she's not particularly close to her children and my friend's parents are quite elderly with their own health problems. It's awful what is going on with my friend's son. Everybody has washed their hands of him now. He's had every type of help and support in the past from his family, but just keeps lying and letting all down. It's ironic that her other son is a lovely boy - good job etc - strange how two brothers can turn out completely different.Today I went out lunchtime and met my friend for a coffee in a nice little place that has just opened. Bless her - she insisted on paying so I'll get them next time. I also bought some bamboo cotton buds in the refill shop in a small attempt to reduce my plastic consumption! It was a beautiful day today - but absolutely boiling! When I got home I had to wash my face with cold water before I got stuck back into work!DIETAgain going well. I'm still not feeling really hungry - thank goodness! Even looking at the cakes in the coffee shop didn't faze me, but later on an advert for MacDonalds was on the radio and my mouth began to water...The coffee was my first since I started the diet - I just had a little amount of soy milk to go with it.Tonight I had kale with garlic, mushrooms, red onion and chilli flakes - a recipe from Dr Roy Taylor's book. I also put a little balsamic vinegar on it. Good job I like kale - there was loads of it! I've also got enough for tomorrow's dinner as well. 🥦Oh - and the ketone stick was a little darker today....😀Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

That’s not taken long for the ketone stick to begin to show change. I watched the 3rd programme this morning on catch up - it definitely made a difference to the participants - I couldn’t do it though. I take my hat off to you for even attempting it 👏👏January spends - £587.583

I work with someone who did a similar diet on the Cambridge plan, she lost 3st and has kept it off, the difference was amazing. If it works for you then all good 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
