    Thank you!😀

A lazy day today as both DD and OH had work to do. Weather was good until early evening then it rained for a bit. Quite humid with a mist creeping over one of the hills  I've been quite lucky so far with regards to remaining unbitten by the dreaded midges!  The scourge of Scotland!  They seem to miss DD but OH gets devoured terribly if he doesn't look out. He has a black midge net that he wears over a cap if they get bad. He looks like a grieving Victorian widow but it's for the best!

Watched the second part of the Michael Moseley series this evening - weight wise much food for thought.

The weather tomorrow looks ok so we may have a drive out and visit Culloden as I've never been there.

    Night, night all!😴😴😴

    Enjoy your drive out.
I’ve just watched Michael Mosley I’m totally torn by what he suggests especially about the fruit as it has so many benefits.

Beanie he was talking about the amount of sugar in fruit which is true. In my mind though fruit has so many other benefits - what do I know though 😂😂😀

    Thank you Bubblesmum!😀

    beanie - we didn't have a storm here - missed that one!😱

milann - In his 'Fast 800' and 'Bloodsugar Diet' books he recommends apples, pears and berries as the preferred choice for fruit. It's the high sugar tropical fruits like bananas, pineapples, mangos, etc that he's especially wary of. A bit depressing as I love a banana with my morning porridge!☹️

It was overcast today but still warm. We had a run into Inverness and had coffee and toasted sandwiches then drove over to Culloden. The museum was very interesting and we then took a tour around the site of the battle.

It's my last day today - flying home tomorrow afternoon. Could quite happily stay another week.....☹️

One of my friends has type 2 diabetes and has to avoid some fruit, berries are good though. I’m glad you’re having a lovely time x
