I have been sleeping forever as well. Maybe it's because our lives are more sedate and we aren't rushing around,

Maybe it's connected with not having to go out and face the world. Or maybe it puts your normal worries into perspective.
Another one here sleeping better. Also waking up much later which will have to be addressed when back to normal.

I hope your colleague’s GS gets sorted soon, what a worry for them.

It's odd this sleeping lark. I'm usually a heavy sleeper anyway and I've always been the type to resort to sleep when I have problems rather than lie awake worrying about them. Perhaps I'm just weird!😱

I  did my Waitrose shop on Tuesday. There was only one man in front of me in the queue!  Obviously mid-afternoon is the time to shop or everyone was at Aldi!  Plenty of fresh stuff - there were even toilet rolls. But most of the tinned and dried pasta stuff had disappeared.

Still spending a bit of time in the evening on the phone. I went to bed at 9pm last night though. Kept nodding off!    On my walk yesterday I passed our little health foods shop. It always has plenty of stuff but is very small and cramped inside. They had put a very large long and wide table outside and three of the staff were serving a customer each. If you gave them a list they would go inside and shop for you and then you would pay them Via card. I needed some hibiscus tea and there weren't that many in the queue so I got some tea as none of the actual supermarkets seem to sell it and I left my last packet in work.

I haven't been out for my walk yet. Work has been manic today plus I've another dial in conference call later on. I've knocked off for a spot of late lunch now.

My friend's daughter is a hairdresser so she's just texted me on some tips on what home colourant would be suitable as I should have been going to the hairdresser next week.

Back to work now - will catch up with everyone this evening.

Glad you got your shopping done.  A work colleague did his on Tuesday at Mr T first thing, walked straight in and got everything he went for including pasta.  Good to hear that the supermarkets are re-stocking, I expect folks have stopped panicking so much now they have to queue. I've been colouring my own hair since my last hairdressers closed down and not had a problem. I use Nice 'n' Easy, recommended by a work friend and it does what it says on the tin well enough.

My hair appt should have been today.  As it is very short in a couple of weeks it is going to look appalling.  As for the colour, well it's a good job I won't be seeing anyone.  Believe me my natural mix of colours is not a good sight.

Wonderful to clap these evening for all the wonderful essential workers out there!❤️❤️❤️ People were clapping from our flats and I could hear the banging and cheering down the road!  It was rubbish day in our area yesterday and I noticed that people had stuck notices their rubbish thanking the refuse collectors. Our flats' block has wheelie bins stuck round the side of the block and I think I will stick a thank you on one of bins next week.

And thanks guys for your posts. Re the hair problem - my natural colour is quite a darkish brown. I have different colour lights put in - light blonde, dark blonde and a reddish brown.  My friend's daughter has suggested L'Oreal Excellence permanent colour, opting for one of the blonde colours that are an ashy blonde without too much yellow. However on checking the internet there is advice that with highlights one should opt for a warmer toned semi-permanent. So I'm not too sure what to do. Tbh my friends daughter hasn't been a practising hairdresser for a few years now so may be out of the loop!

Are there any hairdressers out there reading this that could help?🙏. Or I could post on the health and beauty board I suppose. 🤷‍♀️
