Your walk sounds lovely. I don’t live near the sea but have been visiting the sea every month(ish) for a good while now.....either visiting dd or a trip after my hospital visits which were half way to a seaside town near me. I’ve found myself craving the sound of waves - and thinking about previous trips to Cornwall. I think as the weather improves it’ll be what I miss a lot.January spends - £587.583

I hope you aren't still logged on SSG , with it being your busy time .Enjoy the Easter Break .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Sunshine_girl2 said:Think I will be suggesting noise cancelling headphones to our customers next week.Just come back from my walk which takes me past a farm, stopped to watch the horses being exercised round the yard . I keep seeing the same people when I am out and stopped for a 2 metre chat with a lady for a couple of minutes as we see each other everyday. There was a big queue at the Tesco Express , maybe people barbecuing.moving_forward said:We are lucjy so far no queues at our little tesco. Big sainsbirys however was huge but it moved quickly and I managed to get 3 bags of compost which was a prized purchase.moving_forward said:Just seen the cost of your noise cancelling headphones!## i would deff put in a request for work to cough up for them xHairyHandofDartmoor said:Is the lady upstairs still singing SSG? 😂 I'm sure the headphones will be a very good buy.
I feel so sorry for that poor family in one room. It would be awful enough normally but unbearable in this lockdown 😥. I'm glad you were able to take some food to the FB .
The views on your walk sound lovely 🙂. I do hope they don't ban exercise because of a few selfish morons.Sun_Addict said:My workplace provide us with headphones thankfully. Although there have been a lot of people using the park across the road from me today, someone has put an inspirational note on the gate with messages on hearts, lovely thing to do.I know you love your beauty products, do you subscribe to a beauty box? I do and love it.
The noise cancelling headphones arrived yesterday. They look very nice although I've still got to work out how to use them! I hate buying new tech as I'm so useless in setting anything up! I can see a call coming to DSis or DD's OHs as they're the techie experts in the family!🙁
@moving_forward - I'm paying for the headphones myself from the PPI money I got last year - I've been mulling about buying a pair for some time now.@HairyHandofDartmoor - the girl upstairs hasn't been singing lately but she has now started a fitness work out! I could hear thumping coming from above and the pendants on my ceiling light fitting started to shake a bit! She hasn't done it for the past two days but I'm going to keep an eye on the ceiling as I've noticed some hairline cracks but I'm not sure whether they were there already. Our flats aren't built that great when it comes to noise. I can't talk as I'm no lightweight myself, but she's on the heavy side too - I personally wouldn't even do aerobic style exercise in my flat even though I'm on the ground floor as the floors are basically chipboard and not that sturdy. She's not self isolating as I've seen her go out a few times each day so if my ceiling cracks anymore I'm going to have to suggest some outdoor exercise supplemented with indoor floor exercise!! I know we all need a fitness outlet at the moment but I don't want her and a pile of plaster ending up in the middle of my living room!😱
@Sun_Addict - I haven't tried a beauty box - what sort of things do you get? Do you find you use all the products ?Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I do enjoy my walks at the moment @milann and think myself fortunate that these coastal rambles are local to me. 😀
I've been absolutely flat our work wise this week @Sunshine_girl2, and very busy next week so. However it is expected as this is the busiest time of the year for our firm. And I clocked off last night and won't log on again till Tuesday morning! It's Easter weekend - although not as we usually know it! I've still got the Easter eggs for the children in the family - hopefully they'll still be in date by the time I see them again! Who knows!☹️I did my Waitrose shop the other day. Got there at 3.15pm - this was a good time as only about half a dozen in front of me. The shop was well stocked - only the usual suspects missing - tinned veg and dried pasta so people are still stocking up with these.I'm still trying out the radio stations over the few days - Absolute 80s (👍), Absolute 90s (ok), Hits Radio(👍). Today I tried Kiss but turned it off after an hour as it was too much hip-hop - not my favourite music genre. But I've being playing Heart Dance which is great!
Film wise I downloaded 'Le Mans 66' which I really enjoyed - shame I didn't see it on the big screen. DD also recommended a Netflix series - 'Freud ' which is about the young Siegmund Freud but totally weird - if you ever watched 'Penny Dreadful' or 'Hannibal' it's got that same spooky scary vibe! Back to earth wise I finished watching the series on President Putin- which was equally scary but in a different way!😱
Today I did my housework and went for my walk - another lovely day!
SCRIMPY MSE THINGS
Again not much going on - I got my monthly Santander interest and cash back which went over to the AD Hoc Savings pot. I bought a few things in Superdrug - hair colours ( which I'm still wary of doing), some special gloves and socks for skin softening and an exfoliating scrub for the face.I've also downloaded a couple of tracks from iTunes.Enjoy the rest of Good Friday everyone !

Hope hope the girl upstairs doesn’t come through your ceiling 😱
I get the Latest in Beauty box 3 products for £9 choose your own from a list. You can pay more and get more products if you want. Always good value and I do use everything. Top of the range brands too and worth more than you pay. Can highly recommend 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
I sincerely hope you don’t get an uninvited visitor through your ceiling 😱 Keep an eye on those cracks.
Did you know Andrew Lloyd Webber is screening a musical every Friday evening which is available all weekend. We’ve just watched Jesus Christ Superstar. I missed last weeks as I read it somewhere earlier this week.Enjoy the sunshine ☀️January spends - £587.583 -
@Sun_Addict - I had a look at the Latest In Beauty website and I've signed up for the £9 monthly beauty box as you do. I've ordered hydrating eye and lips masks plus a deep pore exfoliating scrub so I see how I get on with these. As M&S have stopped debiting the £10 per month Premier Club monthly fee for the time being, the beauty fee will be covered by this.Hi @milann - I didn't know about the Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals streaming - shame I missed Superstar - it's one of my favourites.I did put a note through the letterbox of the girl upstairs the other evening as she had music on quite loud fairly late plus seemed to be doing some sort of exercise as well!😡 it's been a bit quieter since. Not much else to report - housework, washing, kept the walks up in the lovely weather, watched more films and TV. One thing I don't seem to be doing so much is reading so I'm going to rectify this - I still have the new Hilary Mantel to wade through.I was going to pop up to Aldi but ended up at Waitrose - again only a couple of people in the queue and the shop was well stocked apart from tinned tomatoes and dried pasta again. I was watching Jack Monroe's new cookery series on TV this morning - she lives in my area and happened to say that tinned tomatoes were in short supply locally and they are!The shop took care of my was ok - 20 mins there and back - certainly felt a lot colder today though than it has been.Back to work on the laptop tomorrow - I must say that the four days of Easter has flown by - it certainly hasn't dragged! It was nice though hearing the Easter bells ringing yesterday from the church across the road - felt like some sort of normality.Enjoy the rest of Easter everyone!🐇🐇🐇🐇🐰🐰🐰Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Now you’re a member of LIB they also do some brilliant one off boxes from time to time with over £120 worth of items for £30-ish. I didn’t know M&S had stopped taking the £10 fir Priority Club. I see they extended the date on the vouchers until next year. I do get you into bad ways don’t I - first the Priority Club now the beauty box 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I know - you're a bad influence @Sun_Addict!🤣. I only heard about the Premier Club fee on Thursday. M&S sent me a text to say they were pausing it as from 7 April and would send more details. At least they sent me £20 worth of vouchers a couple of weeks ago! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Just catching up on your diary. I'm interested in the beauty box? Where do I get one from?
Your walks sound lovely. I keep saying I will do my walk first thing and your description of yours strengthens my resolve.
My headphones are here but Luddite stress has stopped me from progressing with them. I will make them tomorrows frog. They are quite big. Do yours fit?If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
