If only we could put the clocks forward to next year. 2020 has been bobbins so far....
I was thinking how lucky you were to get your cruise in before things got too manic. I’m destined not to have mine - we were going to do it this year....but to be honest I’m not convinced I want one now I’ve seen how quickly things can spread through the confines of a ship.January spends - £587.584 -
I read something the other day about after the pandemic and how people will be without work. The solution was to bring the retirement age back down.......it’s all speculation and probably fake news but it was quite thought provoking......can’t remember where I read it either.....January spends - £587.584

Or cabin wasn't a suite, so no balcony - to think of being confined to the cabin not knowing if one had the virus like some of those poor people on the later cruises doesn't bear thinking about! And I agree that some folks will probably think twice about a cruise when things get back to normal. There's so much speculation going round and round about this virus and what the after effects will be. I'm just sticking to reading The Times and watching the news on TV once in the morning and in the evening. I'm not on social media anyway (well apart from anonymously on here!) which I'm glad about as I hear there's so much fake news doing the rounds. ☹️Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Today was quiet (oh what a surprise!😁). I dropped the food bank bits over to the church when I got up. It was freezing out compared to what is has been this week. Today we've had sleet, rain, hailstones and some sunshine! Did a few bits around the flat - changed the bedclothes, washed my clothes and hung them on the clothes horse, made a list for my shopping tomorrow lunchtime, used the ironing board for its main job instead of a desk, and went for a brisk walk. Again a few more people out than during the week, but it was easy to keep a distance. Also touched base with friends and family on the phone and via email. If you don't mind subtitles and like a good thriller to take your mind off things, I've been watching an excellent French series on All4, part of their 'Walter Presents' series. It's called 'Just One Look' and based on a Harlan Coben novel. Quite sucked me in today!
Anyway back to work tomorrow - I thought the weekend would drag, but it's passed really quick!☹️Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
