You sound like you had a productive Sunday SSG
. It's very kind of you to drop off food at the FB as it's obviously hard for them to get enough with the current restrictions.
I hope work goes well today. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

The Stranger was filmed in my home town....The opening scenes are the market and old church.... I’ve never seen it looking so good 👍 I watched it and thought it was brilliant but the main attraction was spotting places we recognised. It was quite surreal as some was filmed in other nearby towns - on minute they’d be by my market then in big town nearby and next in another town not far away....played tricks on my mind 😂😂January spends - £587.583

I've had to skim read the posts to catch up I'm afraid but I think I've got caught up!
Is your friends child ok now? I may have missed you saying what happened.
Sorry your having to be alone at this horrid time. I'm glad you have your work to keep some human interaction and are getting out whilst staying safe.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

Thank you all for your posts - I've never read any Harlen Coben books but what I've seen of the TV adaptations, they must be good! I'll have to investigate. I've been sucked into 'The Stranger' now - was watching it last night. Several years ago I saw an excellent French thriller called 'Tell No One' which won a few awards at the time. Apparently it's based on the Harlen Coben novel so another one for HC fans to catch up on if they've not already seen it.Thanks @in_need_of_direction and @HairyHandofDartmoor - I've decided to put aside money that I would have spent on the weekly Ad Hoc Spends towards the FB budget.@moving_forward - the CV test for my colleague's little grandson was adulterated so he had to have another test. The family are still waiting the results for the poor little chap. ☹️So I'm writing this whilst I'm having a coffee break. Boss has given me a dispensation to go shopping at Waitrose this afternoon so I'm working around this. I didn't shop yesterday as I ended up busy in the morning and then had a conference call in the early afternoon and then I had to type up notes on it to circulate to our team. I did nip out for a walk lunchtime through the park this time (a few dog walkers, joggers, joggers with their dogs and a couple roller blading on one of the tennis courts!). I passed Aldi which had a very long queue so hence the later shopping time for me today.its weird how busy I seem to be at home even though I'm not commuting. The day is work, pop out for walk/shopping, dinner, catching up with family and friends and then some TV and diaries! I've been sleeping so well too - my body clock is getting used to the later wake up hour and I found it harder to get up this morning!
SCRIMPY MSE THINGSI received back my refund yesterday for my cancelled rail tickets to DD's Very efficient of the rail company as I only put my application in at the weekend. Nothing much else to report really - I'm just spending at the supermarket, but will be looking for some noise cancelling headphones online.Right - back to work now......Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
