  • Hi everyone

Hope you are all having a lovely day.

I'm really sleepy today and possibly a bit hungover. :p Cannot be bothered to do anything even though the house is a bit of a tip and I have stuff to prep for tomorrow... For the time being I'm catching up with Victoria and reading my book. :)

CCL - I'm so glad you went to the docs. Keep resting when you need to and enjoy any down time you can :)

    Just the usual from me:
    Need to sort YNAB
    Prep for tomorrow's class
    Meals from stores
    Night in tonight
Avoid the garden centre today if I can :p

Not much else to say tbh...

    Hi Frugalistas,
Today I've had some free exercise clearing a garden border. I've picked fruit & veg that was ready. Dinner will be leftover yummy lamb & courgette bake from last night. I'm now getting some leisure time. I've read 2 mags I was given, updated my blog & I'm now sitting in this fab sunshine reading a book I got from the charity bookshop.
    Love to all,

CCL I have a similar medical problem; I take thyroxaine every day to keep me tiptop.
    - Got a couple of cheap books today
    - Wombled costa receipt for loyalty points
    - Sold an item on eBay and listed a new item
    - So pleased with myself for getting around to sewing my dress, on took 3 weeks to bring myself to do it!
    - Anyone got any good ideas for a 40th birthday present for a woman?? I don't really know what she likes other than booze and chocolate. It's one of the mum's from school.

  • Just booked car hire for our holiday. Got car hire excess insurance separately - just £2.99 a day rather than £12.99 a day that car hire places can charge.

What's your budget? where do you live?

See if there were any classic children's books published in 1975 and see if you can get a 1st edition?

Where I am the river stour runs through our town and they do river punting, think it's a tenner pp, and a bottle of fizz?

An hour session at a spa? My local one is £12.50 but the one a town out is £25 and soooooo lovely

I got given a hyacinth planting basket by someone last year which I loved! So it was a planter/basket, some soil and 3 bulbs. This was store bought but you could totally put it together

eta: just seen she's not your bezzer. Why change a winning formula? A nice bottle of prosecco always goes down well!

    Hi all

Yesterday was spent fetching mum home from respite so things are back to normal :o Didn't sleep well as managed to hurt my back and then sitting for 6 hours in the car just made it worse but took painkillers and trying to stay active today is helping. Today I have

    Checked Bank
DH took DS to his Footie Match
    Washing & Line Dried
    Ironing
    Tea @mums
    Entered a few comps
Checked Lucky Phone, Ashleigh, Numberplatelotto, FPL
Decluttered - bathroom cabinet and decorative plate/tray to DD, book to sheltered accommodation,

    Night all
