Prinzessilien, we go to Wells, Norfolk a lot, and I have sat overlooking the harbour and watched as a seagull swooped down and pinch chips from a child. They really are vicious creatures, but I do love the noise they make, always reminds me of childhood holidays

Being as independent as possible is a big thing. Working around the 'problem' in a way you can is better than just focusing on it.
Like today - I wore my new jacket to go to the supermarket, and he was all for helping me out of it when we got back, and I had to stop him (yes I did manage to take it off myself :T )
I've given him a basic guideline - if I'm swearing like a trooper, just let me be, I'm managing. If I burst into tears, I need help. :rotfl:
Where I probably fall down (so to speak) is in stubbornly declaring No, lupus, you are NOT stopping me getting this done I Will Finish It If It Kills Me!!!! And then of course I can do zilch for the next three days.:wall:
Re birdies - we have blackbirds looking like they're getting into the nestbuilding thing. And we had to shoo a moggy off next door's nest-box a few days back - blighter was after the bluetits. Hah! Not on my watch, Feline! If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
For any of you that have furry friends the birdies love the hair for their nests, I plonk the sweepings in one of my wall baskets with a little bird food and watch the ensuing fun - always makes me smile:D0

In no particular order - catch up time .
Candlelight forgot to mention the good outcome after the retinal examination . That's reassuring for the Diabetes .
LW We seem to share similar basic guidelines . Only two more sleeps and LIzzie will be on the doorstop . Wishing some sun and fun for the visit .
Mar When I mentioned the DLA records in England will ask do you want the dla file sent through to assessor . May be different in Scotland .
Csarina hoping things are looking better .
Cranky Is that Otterspool prom ? As a child we used to visit Liverpool often in the summer and walk the prom and visit the park . A walk along the front always blew the cobwebs away . Well done on a cat who will keep a collar on , we had a mixed bunch over the years , some wore them with pride and others would get rid eventually . The most stubborn would submit to collar and added larger bell as he was a hunter when young . Ten minutes later he'd reappear minus it . I was forever spotting random collars around the trees and shrubs . As he grew up a bit he made friends with a rather eccentric blackbird and they developed a routine of bird flying above him cat shouting back which was funny to watch and he would lie in the sun while the bird walked around him .
Doom and Gloom
I realised earlier I've been confusing you with Curly top . When I mentioned 1st Class signed for to return the form . I forgot to add that when I track the next day I print a copy and keep with all the stuff related to the claim .
Nice to see you Jackie - nest battles were fought here decades ago and hopeful squatters are given short shrift . Billy Blackbird mentioned above sounds like yours . One of generations of them with distinctive markings , a need to be human and a cat friend !

Curly Top confusing you and Doom and Gloom was a good example of what happens when sleep has been disrupted too often and I need to gather the brain cells together again .
I would give the pain clinic a try and the PIP too if possible .
To make things clearer .
Broadgreen and Royal both have Rheumatology depts . Same consultants , nurses and other staff work across both sites .
DD was referred to BG for diagnosis about four years ago as they had the earlier appt date .
All I mentioned at the Royal are from our GPs referrals for matters arising and needing investigation .
Consultant sees her at BG and everything else is the Royal .
If DD were posting she would add that the latter is preferable as you will know there's a big Costa upstairs and that's better for a veggie taking packed lunches to the other site .
I know BG run a pain clinic and the Royal may also or will be able to refer .

Prinzess good luck at the dentists .I hope you see both sun and squirrels on your journey . Seagulls can be very irritating . We have a lot of different sea birds here being right by the sea but also many others from nearby farmland which nest here . The winter geese are wonderful to watch in formation but noisy in flight and take ages to settle at night .
Hope the wheels get some airings in the next few Caronc .
I'll mention the book I spoke of further back in the thread which I recommend for anyone with Chronic Pain / Exhaustion .
The Official NHS Pain Clinic Handbook .
Book title is " Chronic Pain Management Plan " I only use the Am*z*n site for books . It was there earlier at £9.99 , I've bought a few copies for others over time and delivery is usually straight through the letter box .
Well after usual Dr and other stuff tomorrow I'm off for a few days break . Will be back early next week . Take care and be good .

Snow back on here tonight, falling thick and heavy. Poor wee birds, they must get used to this though.
I hadn't heard of seagulls being protected - thats totally MAD! They're pests!0 -
Csarina's blog says she has been taken into hospital I am sure we all wish her well and a speedy recovery
