What a lovely hubby you have :) do you have long hair LameWolf, I picture you with long lovely hair.
Yes, he's really good; and I do appreciate him, specially after 20 years of the Ex. Good guess; my hair is waist-length, and is dyed back to it's original dark red. Unfortunately it's very thin these days though; I've lost roughly three quarters of it to lupus - but fortunately (in a way) it's all-over loss, not patchy.

Noted a few thought it was off putting reading about woe's and people in pain venting etc. If you find yourself reacting negatively to this it's ok to step away from the thread for a bit. I do this. But I'd like to think this space was open and safe for people living with ill health to say what they like.

I really appreciate that this thread is here and know you are all suffering in some way or another so understand what it's like. I like to pretend I'm superwoman but In reality I'm more mouse girl :D
Thanks for this - I don't know about you, but I find it a bit of a strain trying to put on the cheerful face the whole time IRL and make like everything's fine; it's good to have somewhere where one can be anonymous (well, hidden behind a screen name, at least) and let one's guard down a tad. :o

Mojo definitely back a bit today less dizzy but unfortunately still have the drunk trying to walk on a bouncy castle gait so wheels not aired nor much by way of chores done. Hopefully it will have settled a bit more tomorrow as it's long day if you are not a TV fan and have poor concentration.
You are so right; I actively dislike television, and can only tolerate it if I'm doing something else at the same time. I hope someone's at least removed the bouncy castle from your life by now. ;)

Up at sparrowfart this morning, as Lizzie has her first walk of the day very early. What we decided to do with her is get up, throw yesterday's clothes back on, walk her and give her some brekkie, then see about having our morning bath and putting on clean clothes. ;) It's lovely to have her here though; good excuse to go out for a breath of fresh air - you feel a bit of a plonker trundling out on a mobility scooter for no other reason than just to go round the park! :D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Hi all :-) While my physical health is fine (aside from a minor muscular back injury) I have to say that I find OS ways, money saving & household chores slide the more I'm affected by my seasonal affective disorder & depression.

And times when I don't recognise my sliding mood I often only realise is a flare-up when I suddenly notice how cluttered and untidy my house is, how much extra I've spent in a month and how much I'm lacking in energy to get things back on track.

Not sure if anyone else experiences this?

I find it's very easy to let things slide when you just don't feel good and canny be a$$ed. I drop the healthy Paleo diet and live on crisps and cornflakes. I let things slide in the house and garden, and then when I pick up again I'm shocked at the mess :)

Didn't tidy or vacuum the other day - oh well.
Today I swept the kitchen floor, dustpan and brush on butt. OH can steam clean it when he gets home.

I have shepherdless pie mix in the slow cooker. Will be having it with a sweet potato jacket, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, lettuce and cucumber.

We're going to the cinema tomorrow to see Logan. Booked tickets online so don't have to worry about lining up. Need to wake up early which is going to be fun :o.

    Evening everyone,
Was MIA action yesterday due to a particularly violent vertigo episode which felled me for most of the day. Thankfully much recovered this morning as had a bunch of hospital appointments. It's good from a travel perspective when they can tie various clinics up but boy is it exhausting. Still can't complain as got a smashing neck/shoulder massage from my lovely physio :) (as well as a wad of new exercises to do:eek:) That's me "officially" been taken on by the specialist team in Paisley so won't have to go to my local ENT clinic as well just the physio team, I feel very blessed to have a had a local ENT Consultant who was prepared to admit I could benefit from another's expertise then argue the case/budget to have this happen:)

Expect I'll be out of sorts tomorrow but it will be worth it in the long run.....

Hope everyone is having a decent day x

Muffin man I am ashamed to admit this buttt... I have sort of gone off sweeties. I still take notions and buy them, then end up throwing them out. Since the Addisons diagnosis I find I crave salty stuff more. Unheard of for me! So now my junk food fix is salty crisps, and bacon with black pudding :D:D
And the only way to get energy levels back up is to do nothing at all until you feel better. Be a dying duck on a sofa! Read a lot. Until you get restless, then you know you're on the mend. ;)

I don't have a sweet tooth savoury stuff is my weakness:o, since having to restrict my salt I dream about savoury things - so your junk fix would be my idea of heaven :)

Film was amazing. I won't say what happened but I'm sure anyone who likes x-men/wolverine films etc will like this one too.
Not long been home. We got caught at Waterloo East because of what happened at London Bridge (we treated ourselves to going to the BFI Imax). Waited on the train for over an hour and a half.
I was starving when we got home but instead of food I'm having coffee :rotfl:.

All I've eaten today is an Italian raw crispbread, a portion of Tyrell crisps and a small pot of be good to yourself houmous :o. Can you tell I went to the cinema? :D
