Offers to Asia on finnair - BKK from £455

....Most would just buy a direct flight with a decent airline for the £455 in the first place.
It's only you who considers from £455 for a indirect flight with a very average airline a good deal.
.
The direct flight for my dates was £535, on old B777 aircraft, the cheaper £455 fare on a new aircraft was appealing. Not silly, not crazy.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

Oh please. I ran comparisons for many dates until I could actually find a £455 fare with FinnAir and then used the same dates for Oman Air, THAI and EVA. Oman Air came in at least £80 less and THAI and EVA came in at par.
What are your dates?I'll see if there is a £455 fare with FinnAir on that date and then compare.
Hopefully you know your dates and will be able to reply directly, as opposed to taking some time to make up a scenario.
Has even a single person thanked you for your post? No, because it's no good.0 -
Seems that it's really important to you to post here, even if you have nothing useful to add.
and yes I do have thanks on this thread. Perhaps you should have checked before posting and continued making yourself look silly.
And your additional useful point to add on this post is?
Unfortunately there is only one person embarrassing themselves on their 56 yes 56 posts (and undoubtedly counting) on this thread.
I think I have around 15.
As for adding anything useful, we are no further from post one to where we are now. You have got a flight with a carrier, price and service you are happy with.
Others may not find the option you took as desirable for many reasons and would be willing to pay extra to fly with another airline that will suit them better.
I (and others) have provided other reasons as to why price may not be a deciding factor in selecting a flight, but you are more focused on individuals rather than their points of view.
You attempt to counter argue valid points with insults is something kids would do at infant school - something which I am sure you would not do face to face with any given individual.Has even a single person thanked you for your post? No, because it's no good.
And tell me again, how many of your [STRIKE]54[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]55[/STRIKE] 56 posts (and counting) have been thanked?
So using your analogy that 'un-thanked posts' are no good, as the majority of yours are, should they also be deemed as 'no good'?0 -

That you are back again to argue, contrary to your position of not hoving over your computer waiting to argue.
What happened to the life that you claimed to have?
My position is that it's no bargain at all. richardw's attempt to sell it as such are simply not convincing. Hence not a single thanks for a thread with 2000 views. Not one. That is poor.
Here you are posting on a thread even though you actually agree that it is no bargain.
So what are you doing here??0 -

Was that direct with the airlines' websites or false pricing from OTAs you'd definitely avoid?
I'm not thanks conscious, it's just not on my radar.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

Why did I know that you would reply without your dates.
Instead you just try to obfuscate.
Thanks indicates that people have made use of it and to let you know. But from £455 for an indirect flight is rubbish!0 -

I am 'hoving' over my computer today as I am working from home, but I have the window open on this fascinating debate on a thread that will undoubtedly be moderated very soon.0 -

Ok, chose random dates of the 5th of November until the 19th.
We'll check FinnAir first;
£470.71 for a totally inflexible ticket
Then EVA via an OTA
£456.06
So cheaper to fly direct
Bother you blather on about OTA added another layer of T&C, just remember that the FinnAir ticket is totally inflexible anyway and it's got rubbish outbound time from LHR.0 -

Just in case you try to accuse me of picking and choosing dates:0
