Its a great feeling isnt it. Knowing that gradually you are getting thinner and clothes are looking better on you. I want to go clothes browsing because even after losing nearly three stone I just cant see the difference in my shape. I've been told its because I'm still wearing size 22 clothes :o I've always liked baggy clothes so its not a problem for me to put on a belt or put on like four layers (I've taken to doing that so much recently). I never really understood people with eating disorders not being able to see that they are so thin but I can genuinely empathise now, I look in the mirror and I still see a 17 and 3/4 stone woman looking back, rolls of fat, WIDE LOAD sticker and everything. I'm hoping that by trying on some clothes that fit properly I might be able to see what I have lost (I'm going to take my camera so I can take some photos to remind me :D).
Sorry I do ramble on a bit but you guys are the only people that understand, my DH thinks I'm obsessed so refuses to talk to me about it any more.

Can I ask if you've been exercising Spud? If so what have you been doing? I keep trying to find something that I enjoy/can find time for but everything just seems like hard work ;) I've bought two DVDs, gone for a few walks, tried having more "bedroom" exercise, bought a hula hoop but nothing seems to stick. I'm looking for some ideas on exercises that work that I can try.

Erm, no I dont exersize as such. I am on my feet all day at school, but can't bring myself to do anything more :o

I did start walking to school and back, but I've become a coward with the dark nights and started taking the car.

To be honest, I could kick myself, because I know I would lose the weight quicker if I did move my lazy fat backside a bit more.

My DD gave me a hug when I came in this afternoon, and was amazed because she can get her arms round me with so much more to spare than she could before. It made me feel great. Loads of people are noticing now, which does give me a huge boost, I must admit.

I just wish I could afford some new clothes. I even have trouble keeping my jeans up, which had been really tight.

I'm with you on the exercise thing. I Salsa for 80 mins on a Weds night (burns about 600 calories) but that is it...

I had a 2 lb gain last night. I'm not happy, but i had a chat to my group leader and my new mantra is... I can do this!!

So I've been good all morning - 2 weetabix and skimmed milk for breakfast and an apple mid morning. Just thinking about lunch which will be a tuna salad.

    Wish me luck x

Oh and well done on the loss Spud! Have you resisited the bread?

  • Weighed myself today and I appear to have gained a pound! Bah! I don't know how that's happened because I have been really good this week - perhaps it is the week before catching up with me. Oh well, perhaps I will get a weight loss next week instead!

Subtract another kilo for me :)
Turns out I wasn't off work this week after all. I'm such an idiot sometimes :D Its next week (this coming week) that I'm off, so the trip to the city has had to wait until this coming Tuesday/Wednesday.
I realised something this morning, I'm having extraordinary weight loss. I've lost either .5 or 1 kilo a week EVERY week. I haven't had a week where I haven't lost something, and that's for over four months
I've accepted that I probably wont get to 90kgs for Christmas week (22nd) but I'm going to do my hardest to get as close as possible.
