Morning Everyone
18th September
Felt really drained today so had a day in. At least I chalked up NSD No 8. Not sure I'll be able to reach my target before the end of the month but you never know.
Since I stupidly forgot to take dinner out of the freezer C and I finished of yesterday's chilli and son phoned a take away (which he paid for himself). I've made a cottage pir for tomorrow. Think my menu plan for this week has gone seriously awry but at least the replacements are coming from the freezer.
I managed to do a few more cards and read a lot of my book so not such a complete write off as yesterday.
Hope you all have a pleasant day.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Hello,
got another NSD on Sat as I did my Duathlon then. It was great, might do that one again next year.
Food spends stand at £220 so far and might need another 50 till the end of the month. So I am actually positively surprised by that. It's the other spends that I need to look into. Although even food could be reduced a bit more if I cut down on drinks etc.
Catch up later againDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Morning all,
Didn't manage a NSD over the weekend, but that was expected. Actually, to won't be either as I didn't manage to meal prep. I will however nip to the SM and get some stuff.
I've been having a poor September for my NSD's but I'll keep plodding away as ever. Going to smash it in October!0 -

Nothing much to report today as I am away with work until tomorrow night.
I haven't spent any money and I made DH and I lunch today before I left. Stocked up on some bottled water with my lunch allowance. DH will be eating something easy from either the fridge or the freezer this evening and I will be eating room service paid for by my company
Easy day tomorrow, longish drive then cinema with a friend.
I have spent this afternoon thinking about what I want to achieve financially as I keep chopping and changing between prioritising clearing 0%/low rate debt, reducing mortgage balance to gain a better rate in 2 years time, saving and making progress on the house refurbishment. Gaining my new job has given me more job security and I have added some short and long term goals to my diary in MFW.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -
Hi turtles,
Quick post to report NSD 11 and 2 more items decluttered.0 -
Grrr, yesterday ended up being a spend day as well.
Naughty dog stole and chewed the eyes off DS' GF's birthday present:eek:. GF very upset and I have offered to 'look' for it this week - I know where it is, I stuffed it down the side of the bed once I realised although at that point I just knew the dog had chewed a cuddly toy and not that it was hers:eek:
Have found same one on Amazon so that should arrive tomorrow and all will be right with the world:jalthough I am £7 down!!
Sunday was a spend day as expected, got butter and squash plus stocked up on socks, underwear, PJ's and dressing gown for DS who needs all new stuff for Uni - what should have been a £10 spent came to £185:eek:0 -
Morning Everyone
19th September
Today was a much better day. Went to see C'c sister who was much brighter and has settled in the her new place. Staff are so incredible. C took me for lunch so NSD Day No 9.
Menu pan has gone totally gone out of the window now but hasn't cost anything extra as I've improvised from store cupboard etc.
Been such an upspy/downsy few days that I haven't addressed my challenges but that's life.
Really have to get bck into it tomorrow.
Feeling much more positive.
Have a good dayHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Morning Turtles,
Needed a trip to SM yesterday so I'm sorted for dinners and lunches for the remainder of the week, I hope.
I'll be back on the band waggon today though, so I'll get my NSD today.0
