    Morning all, welcome Donna
Glad it's bedroom today as I can pull in some decorating prep without getting behind on the lists.
Got two of ds2s friends asleep on the settees so will leave doing downstairs for a bit. One is avoiding his parents (they DO know he's here) but he's in bD books after missing the bus home from Leeds festival and they had to shell out £225 for the taxi that bought him home. Looking on the bright side he is well and no harm came to him but ouch that is a lot of money because he got to the bus stop 20 mins late!

Dh and ds1 have already left for work and I'm back as well today but just lunchtime for me.

Going to make a start on stripping the border and see how clean that comes off.

Have a good day all, hugs and sticks where needed.

    Hi All, welcome to Donna.

I'm back, after my hols, tanned, relaxed, and ready to face the last week of the Summer holidays.

As I'm still in holiday mode, I'll be pottering through the lists this week as my main focus will be catching up on the washing :) I've got lots of other bits and pieces to do as well - mainly school uniform-related, but also work-related as I go back on Monday too.

Have a good day, hugs to anyone who needs one.

I'm in. I've not brushed my hair since Saturday  I'm just exhausted. BD needs a tree to gnaw on. List of things to do today runs to two pages. Broken my glasses, cracked windscreen on the van. Run out of propane in the caravan, so no hot water or gas for cooking. :(

I'd like to join too. My house is fairly tidy but I tend to ignore the dust and don't do as much cleaning as I should. I live alone and don't work so I've no excuses.

    I've just done:

    15 Minutes..
Clear the floor of anything that doesn't belong there..
    Hoover the floor
    Empty any bins
    Dusted surfaces

And am amazed at the difference. I have a habit of leaving stuff in a particular spot on the floor in my bedroom and it's unsightly. I'm looking forward to seeing tomorrow's lists

I'm just about to clean out three large parrot cages and feed the birds. (I clean them out every other day)

    :)

    Welcome Donna and Cherie.

Big (((hugs))) to Dizzy Imp and everyone else still plagued by a BD.

Congratulations to everyone who has achieved something today, however small - and if you got out of bed, that includes YOU!

I have spent 4 hours so far today on proofreading DS2's dissertation and made some headway. Also went to SW and found that afternoon tea on Friday and everything else this weekend means that I now have an extra 2 lb to declutter.
I have also emptied a bin and S&S'd bathroom and kitchen.

Now off to horse piddle with DH who is having a wart removed from his forearm.

    Catch up later x

DD is well on her way and Zack is sulking despite having "new" toys to play with (aka I do toy rotation as he has so many!)

Munched some frogs, Dentist for me is booked for tomorrow (suspected infected root again ), check-ups are booked for the 23rd (Inset day), Zacks every 6 month health check up is booked for the 8th, and I have a charity coming to collect "as much as I like" on the 15th :D After lunch its finances, and setting Septembers budget while also booking a bulk delivery from Mr A for tinned dog food and bottled water and also ordering Zacks sack of dog food from the pet shop...

Actual cleaning is on hold as I've run out of cleaning cloths except dish cloths lol They're now in the WM and will probably spend most of the afternoon in it (I wash them really well as they tend to stink of bra55o otherwise).
