Morning all. Another one feeling a bit down here, can't really explain it. Anyway, best get on with decorating today and have friends visiting later.
Thanks for the list Natty, hugs to all who need them.
Have a great day everyone, whatever you may be doing.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Thank you for the new list, Natty, and for last week's, Valli. Welcome back Mumof2 :j
I'm here, throwing sticks for all the BDs - hope they run off soon - but
I shall only be doing bits and pieces of flying this week as I still have DS2's dissertation to proofread and, having spent yesterday afternoon and much of the evening sorting out last-minute B&B bookings in Geordieland and God's Own Country, we shall be going away for a few days from the end of the week, so I need to get it done very soon.
It's a gloriously sunny start to the BHol here, and DH has gone off to play trains (of course!) The house is already pretty clean and tidy, so that's a good start.
Today's list:
- S&S kitchen
- shower, S&S bathroom
- WM x2
- dust study (I can see DGSs' fingermarks )
- text one friend and phone or email another
- proofreading for the rest of the morning
- get car cleaned (I can't carry buckets of water)
- take an elderly friend out for the afternoon to 'my' NT property
- hopefully finish proofreading this evening
- if time, declutter camera memory by downloading photos to PC
I still haven't set up my new laptopso that will be the next priority in the office after the proofreading.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all in need. Hope everyone gets some sunshine to cheer their day xx0 -
Oh my goodness!!! A pack of black dogs!! Throwing lots of virtual sticks to keep them busy. Sun is shining so hope that is helping somewhat.
List for today-
De litter a run!!!
Clear the floor of unnecessary gibble
Mop/hoover the floor
Shine the sink and draining board. Make those taps shine and twinkle..
Wipe down worktops and wipe down all small electricals.
Rehome anything that is out of place
Clean the window and windowsill

Put shelf up in ds1s bedroom. (We have set ourselves a challenge of munching one frog a weekend!!!!)Grocery challenge- feb 2015- £133.07/£2500 -
Sounds like hugs are needed all round - and sticks / spoons / brooms too.
Welcome home to all returning flyladies and happy hollibobs to those on travels
Kitchen here is in a good place and I've inadvertently done some of the list over the weekend.
Inlaws are coming over this afternoon - we'll eat in the garden and the kiddies want to play water balloons so I guess we're entertaining outdoors today.
Think I'll get a wash going so it can dry before the water battle begins
I'm also planning to de-fluff the insides of DS new school sweaters. Sigh. LolBossymoo

I have played alongside for last 2 weeks and finally am not often afraid to answer the doors I am behind with my ironing but have time to catch up today. This thread is a genius
.. So I am in again even if it is quietly. Many thanks.

Morning all.
Hugs, sticks, spoons & vibes to all.
Lie in today, but we've got lots to get done. DD goes away tomorrow so laundry needs doing and we need to go to Mr A as we need milk againI'm shattered after a late night and lots and lots of walking yesterday so I don't know how productive I'll be.

15 Minutes..
Clear the floor of unnecessary gibble
Mop/hoover the floor
30 minutes to spare..
Shine the sink and draining board. Make those taps shine and twinkle..
Wipe down worktops and wipe down all small electricals.
Rehome anything that is out of place
Got an hour...
Clean inside the microwave. A good tip is to heat up a cup of water in the microwave - the steam shifts all the yukky stuff on the microwave
Clean the window and windowsill. Rehome anything that shouldn't be there
Sort through your cookery books/magazines. Are there any that you don't need that are just taking up space? Rehome them to the local charity shop...

Extra challenge:
- Deweb, don't forget those corners
- Clean light fittings/switches
- Wipe down the doors
- Empty those smelly bins
- Clean that cupboard under the sink!!!

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I'm in this week. My paid work is changing location and hours. I'm working 3 days a week. Currently Tue, Wed and Sat.
No excuse not to get on top of flying!
DS3 is back to school on Thursday. DD2 is back a week today. All back to school preperations are completed.0 -
Morning all, just watching Matthew Wright's paper run down..then must get moving. I'm another one that seems to be entertaining a BD too..much to the annoyance of my real puppy..lol I can't even say that the house only needs a whizz around to make it look human again..as even that has gone to pot now. I blame this darn intensive therapy..
A word of wise if anyone is offered to do a 3 day, all day intensive therapy, then consider it carefully as you will invariably lose your whole life etc.. I really thought I was ready to cope with this and cleaning the house..wrong!!! Aside from the fact that I'm in a permanent state of bleugh!!! I do think it's working though...lol
Looking forward to Wednesday as we are all off on a jolly day out to WhitstableIt's one of our home and away days at the unit and we all decided to go to Whitstable for fish and chips on the beach. I'm pleased about that as going by train was completely scuppered due to price and amount of time travelling, so we get to go in cars and I'm a designated driver...phew!!! Plus I know Whitstable like the back of my hand as I'm always there with my friend B.
So I need to get the house looking semi human so I don't feel awful knowing what I have to come back to...as if thats going to happen..!!!:rotfl:
Spoons and hugs to everyone that needs/wants them.
Welcome back Mumof2
Right off to hoover the house, have to do this before anything else as it is minging - believe me it isAnd then put another wash load on so it can hang up with the load that is on the line outside.

Hello darlings :hello:
Popping in for inspiration. I've been paying DD1 to do the cleaning, but she needs some lists to really get her going properly.
Hope all are well and chirpy as possible

Hi all, welcome back Mumof2.
Bah to black dogs and gentle squishy hugs to those who need them. Funny time of year though isnt it? The thought of summer coming to an end, the kids going back to school and dark, cold days ahead. Thank goodness for a bit of flylady support.
I am working (yes really I am, waiting for something to download). DH bless him has also gone to work even though he really didnt want to - chuffed with him because we do need the money.
But we will get out on the bikes later. Right, back to it!0
