We've had quite a glorious day in the garden. They played with water bombs and the sprinkler, we had burgers on the patio and they rode bikes (DD has managed to set off on her own and go round a corner :T) and played football.

Not a lot of flying, but everything put neatly away. Loads of laundry put away too. And kiddies dunked in bath - they needed it, lol.

  • I can't settle so just going to post my list for Tuesday.

Monday Mayhem ~ Krazy Kitchen & Living room
    Tidy the living room
Make a start on painting the living room (DH is going to do this job)
Clear the kitchen floor of unnecessary gibble
    Mop/hoover the kitchen floor
Shine the sink and draining board. Make those taps shine and twinkle..
Wipe down worktops and wipe down all small electricals.
Rehome anything in the kitchen that is out of place
Clean inside the microwave. A good tip is to heat up a cup of water in the microwave - the steam shifts all the yukky stuff on the microwave
Look at the cost of getting a new microwave - check finances and schedule purchase date
Clean the kitchen window and windowsill. Rehome anything that shouldn't be there
Sort through your cookery books/magazines. Are there any that you don't need that are just taking up space? Rehome them to the local charity shop...
15 fling boogie in the kitchen
Deweb, don't forget those corners in the living room
Clean light fittings/switches in the living room
Wipe down the doors kitchen and living room
    HHI
Clean that cupboard under the sink!!!

    Quick shower
Let the chickens out and feed all animals
Get kids to school and nursery
    Check emails
    Paid stuff
    Collect kids from school
Clear the floor of anything that doesn't belong there..
    Hoover the floor
    Empty any bins
Strip the bed and remake with fresh clean bedding
    Dust surfaces
Polish mirrors and any other shiny surfaces...
Turn and vacuum mattress - do NOT do it if you are unable to or pregnant..get a nice partner/hubby/child to do it for you.
Sort through the wardrobe - is there anything that you don't need or can be rehomed.
    Clean the light switches
Clear one drawer in the dressing table/chest of drawers
Clean the window - make it sparkle in the sunshine
    Clear and clean the windowsill
    Collect lo from childminder
    HHI
Make a list of anything needed for uni

Just waiting on the WM to finish with a load to be hung out tomorrow then I'm off to bed. Tomorrow I'll be off list first thing, Ex's dad (and mum?) are calling in to collect DD and I want the livingroom clean before they get here so I'm grabbing last weeks livingroom list as well as the set bedroom list! ;)

I've just changed the batteries in the smoke alarms (yes they're working) and the central heating timer...and reset the timer as it was 5 minutes slow. It's going in my diary as a reminder for me to do it again next year. ;)

I've just cleared all the paperwork from the horizontal areas around my desk during which I found a voting form which was meant to be done...so just done it in under a minute online :D This leaves a small pile of papers to be sorted tomorrow instead of massive pile which had accumulated over the weekend as I found them :D

    TUESDAY:
    Morning:
Check DD has packed everything (including pj's and mobile chargers)
    Livingroom list from last week
Wash/dry throws and back on sofas after spraying them.
    Air Zacks bed
    Clean FOH

"Afternoon" (aka after DD has left):
Phone Dentists - emergency appointment for me & a check up for DD Transfer money
    Update finances
    Set Septembers budget
    Wash Zacks toys
Call charity to arrange collection of stuff.
Book Mr A delivery for heavy & bulky items
    HGP list for this week
    Journal
Me time (posh coffee with my book)

    Living Room, hall and stairs
    Level 1
    Plump the cushions
Get a damp cloth and wipe light switches, remote controllers, door handles and anywhere else sticky fingermarks linger. Don't forget the banisters!
    Level 2
Vacuum all carpets, mop the floor
    Shake the doormat outside
    Level 3
    Dust and polish
    Clean the windows

Monday Mayhem ~ Krazy Kitchen s9756.gif
    15 Minutes..
    Mop/hoover the floor
    30 minutes to spare..
Shine the sink and draining board. Make those taps shine and twinkle..
Wipe down worktops and wipe down all small electricals.
Rehome anything that is out of place
    Got an hour...
    Clean inside the microwave
    Clean the window and windowsill.
    Sort through your cookery books/magazines.
    Extra challenge:
    • Deweb, don't forget those corners
    • Clean light fittings/switches
    • Wipe down the doors
    • Clean that cupboard under the sink!!!

    • Any last minute shopping for those with kiddies going back to school. Make a list of what you need so that you don't forget anything at the last minute.

WM has just finished so I'm off to bed when I've dealt with that. I'm so tired today

  • Good Morning All,

I am in, but rather gently flapping as opposed to flying. Too much RL stuff getting in the way, but I will at least do the dailies.

Thank you for the lists xx

Mumof2 - lovely to see you! I had been wondering for a while where you were.

Big sticks in a heap here to chase of BDs.

I adore autumn, and am really excited for the start of September, DD starts reception, DS starts pre-school, and it feels like a fresh chapter. Oh and when it gets colder I can wear knitted tights and boots :)

    Have lovely days all xx

even at this hour of the morning, to a lovely man, I got my £25 back from the Nationwide! :) it seems I went over drawn :o as I set 2 direct debits up for the same one amount, if that makes sense.

Right off to do some else now :j

    Morning all

ATB I find winter clothes easier than summer. I dont really like showing my bare legs so thick woolly tights and boots is a plus for me too!

So .. up nice and early, bathroom swished, mince beef hotpot in the sc, salad made up for lunch, carpet sweeper deployed downstairs, just a few bits of washing up to dry and put away.

Both paid stuff today. Oh and DS2 has just proudly told me that he has been watching Netflix all night and hasnt been to sleep. That boy is going to get a shock next week!!

Have a good Tuesday everyone x
