Hope everyone is well!
Food for today
L - sw tomato and basil soup
D - hunters chicken (2 Syns for bbq sauce, cheese as hexa) with veg.
Used 2 Syns last night for a pasta pot from tesco.
Might have a few mikado sticks later0 -
rjhammond - are you saving syns for the weekend as you don't seem to be having many?
Also that doesn't seem much food for a day. I'd be starving with that amount of food!

Came off a night shift this morning and didn't wake up till half 12 and didn't roll out of bed until half 3! I normally eat more food than that.
Unfortunately for me, if I use all 15 of my Syns I don't tend to lose. I use my Syns for naughty stuff like crisps and sweets as don't really use them in cooking. I don't deprive myself though, if I want it and it's within Syns allowance then I will let myself.. Saving Syns doesn't work for me0 -

Good reason.

Me again. I'm sure you didn't want to know this but Lidl have some of their Christmas stock on sale. I bought DH some stollen bites and he says plenty of marzipan in them. Don't know syns, am trying to resist. 😃
:j:j I know where i'm off to on Friday!!! Must hide all the goodies though so they don't get eaten before Xmas ..
Thanks for the advice on stress, i'm relaxing watching bake off at the moment
We had cheats katsu chicken for tea, using the mayflower curry sauce - I know it's 4 syns for a portion but it's much nicer than the SW stuff... must try the SW recipe for katsu chicken when I have more time.Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Evening all
Went to see The Girl on the Train this afternoon and spent this morning finishing the book (between customers). I knew I wouldn't want to read the book after I'd seen the film so I treated myself to a brand new book* on Thursday and finished it just in time. Reading the book didn't spoil the film, they were both great.
Today's menu, which would be EESP apart from the yogurt at breakfast:
B: melon, berries, yogurt
L: omelettes, beans, mushrooms, tomato (in Morrisons cafe - Free I think?)chicken stir fry (no noodles)
Syns: Cadbury highlight (2.5)
The only HE I've had so far is milk in tea, I may have 2 ryvita and cheese spread later. I considered taking a bag of Maltesers to the cinema, then persuaded myself to take grapes instead, but ended up not taking anything so I'm eating the grapes now so definitely not an SP day today.
Shala - I used to have a spot in my garden that I relaxed in as a way to de-stress, however it usually involved a glass of wine. I also find walking (try borrowing a neighbour's dog, everyone will speak to you) and soaking in the bath with a good book are good.
Denise - welcome back. Where have you got in mind for your next trip? Best wishes to DH for his op.
There were a few extra lads on site today as a new mobile home was delivered so the cakes were both polished off at tea break, and much appreciated.
I'm sure watching bake off is having a negative effect on my weight loss.
Enjoy the rest of the evening.
