Haemorrhoids are a frequent matter of conversation with my friends
Holland and Barrett aloe vera colon cleanse is gentle and seems effective.

And this is the best treatment we have found, but expensive!

Of course the correct thing to do if drink more water and eat more fruit and veg but my haemorrhoids don't don't play ball with that theory!! Excuse the pun :rotfl:
On a more SW approach, I find 1 scanbran a day (and lots to drink) is effective too.
Thank you so much for the advice! Thing is, I could understand me having this situation when I was eating my old diet of processed nonsense all the time. But I'm constantly eating veg/salad!
Keepcalm, thanks also for the advice! Unfortunately I don't have a bath at my houseI've started taking regular pain relief for the time being.. I'm hoping they just disappear like usual! Xx

Hi Shala - no we didn't adopt today however we're going back in 3 weeks (just before we fly to Madrid) and possibly make a choice then, as the reserve will then only be for 7 ish days. Some of the cats that we liked were still being assessed so they might be available for adoption when we go next time. But oh my gosh some of the little kitties were just so squishy adorable!!!0

Good efforts, Betty, wiz and tweets.
What’s slower than a tortoise? That’s what I am in relation to losing weight, pennylane - all my own doing, so no real complaints.
I thought you were a Fifer, Beanie. I am so sad for you, lol. I don’t really understand the rivalry between Bairns and Fifers, particularly those from Dunfermline.
Oh, mrsp, good luck with kitten shopping. Our cat passed away on leap day. We went for a kitten last month to Cats Protection, but we fell in love with Star, a 13 year old, deaf tortoiseshell cat with arthritis, thyroid issues and 3 legs! She’s wonderful!Star by Bobbie Doctor, on Flickr
Thanks, Lois, I looked it up on internet and it came up as free.

Oh well, 1 syn is not so bad.
You and tweets are suffering over the footie this weekend, maman. Normally I’d be on your side, but I do have a leaning towards Arsenal. Sorry. To cheer you up, Swansea did pretty well today. I keep an eye on them because of all their former Bairns. Kingsley is a regular now.
Good luck with your SW journey, duchy.

Aww Star looks like such a cutie greentiger , I can see why you couldn't resist taking her home with you.
Morning everyone! Had a family filled weekend and managed to stick relatively to plan. Happy to report a loss of 3.5 lbs this week shala.
Not sure I'm going to have a loss next week though as I'm going away for the weekend with the husband and afternoon tea is included. Going to try and be as syn free as possible Monday to Friday to counteract the syns that will be consumed on Saturday and Sunday. Starting with today's plan:
B - 2 peaches, FF yogurt, benefit light bar (1/2 HEB)
L - Lentil soup (lentils, spinach, carrot, onion), clementines, cucumber
D - Chicken pasta bake (HEA), salad
S - benefit light bar (1/2 HEB), pineapple fingersEmergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

Morning all
Reporting in yet again with a STS - I just don't believe it! (In my best Victor Meldrew voice.) I've actually seen the magic number bringing my total loss to 3.5st but every Monday it disappears again so I'm still on 3 stone 6. Maybe next week with a really determined effort.
Well done Ruby-eskimo, great loss. :T
Sorry about the yogurt Greentiger - I could have left you in blissful ignorance as it's only 1 syn but I thought you'd rather know. I can't find Rowan Glen yogurt on any of the online supermarkets, do you think it might be available just in Scotland?flutterbyuk25 wrote: »Does anyone else find the sw app completely useless? I typed in "chips" and it doesn't bring up chip shop chips! I even tried typing that in.
It's not very good at general items, better with specific brands, but I typed in chip shop chips and found them right at the bottom of the list!:
Fish & Chip Shops Chips (220g serving) 14Hi I am a bit late with my loss today Shala can you put me down for 1lb loss. Yeh!:T I feel really strange I seem to be losing small amounts but I feel fatter. Arms legs and tum. I can't understand it. Does any one else feel like this ???:(:(:(
Yes! I feel just the same - flabby! I think in my case more exercise might help firm things up, but I have to keep reminding myself I was (nearly) 3.5 stone heavier 2 years ago as I don't like what I'm seeing in the mirror.
Duchy - welcome to the thread and good luck with your weightloss, feel free to ask anything, there's always someone on hand who can help. I had to look up potato farls - they look lovely.
Right, DH has served all the customers so far this morning so I'd better stop typing and do some work!
Have a good day.

Me!! I never thought I had fat arms but since I've started losing weight they look huge! Also my stomach is flabby. I need to start some weight-bearing exercise to tone everything up but I'm worried about it stalling my weightloss. I walk most days so getting plenty of exercise and fresh air but really need to tighten all the screws! :rotfl:
Well done Ruby_eskimo on such a fab loss :T
Sorry to hear you got a STS when you were expecting a loss Lois, that is most annoying!
Greentiger what a lovely puddy. I used to volunteer at the RSPCA shelter as a "cat cuddler" and loved it when people chose the older, less "perfect" cats as they were often the sweetest/funniest ones of all.
I tried the SW Chinese 5 Spice stir fry sauce last night and it was horrid! I tasted okay(ish) when I had the ready-meal version but the actual sauce wasn't nice at all. Will go back to my own sweet chilli/soy sauce/ginger combo - it's worth the one point!0
