Meant to also say - if you wanted to join the challenge we have set up Rosylee, and anyone else who hasn't yet joined, then you could break your loss down into mini targets every couple of months and see how you go.

This post tells you all about it.. we're currently just finishing week 2 so still 7 weeks left :D

So, you didn't get to where you wanted to be by the end of the last challenge? No fear, here's a new one! :D You can do it this time!

p.s. Christmas is only 17 weeks away

If you are just joining us you may not be aware of the bi-monthly challenge that we run to motivate ourselves which you are welcome to join. It isn't a competition, just a way of setting ourselves mini targets if your total loss seems a bit overwhelming.

The new challenge will run from week commencing the 29th August and finish on the 30th October - this gives us 9 weeks.

If you wish to join in with us then please post your target loss for the 9 weeks in red* or bold or massive or all of the above so that I can see it really easily!

I will post the results chart each week on a Monday evening showing the prior weeks losses and singling out the person who has lost the most so we can make a great big fuss over them :T

Any questions please let me know - it doesn't matter which day you get weighed just let me know your loss on that day and i'll add it to the correct week (maybe, if I don't get confused!)

    Thanking you... vampire5.gif

Thank you for the warm welcome and advice. I will join the challenge. Seeing as there are 7 weeks left and taking on the advice to think about progress in half stones I will aim to lose 7 lbs

  • Welcome Rosylee! The challenges Shala sets are fun and will help you get to each milestone I'm sure of it. You've lost a lot of weight before, you can do it again.

Congrats to all our losers. I'm just squeaking in with a 0.5lb loss for the chart please Shala. Phew!

    Thanks guys!

I've developed a taste for tender stem broccili..... for some reason it is so much tastier then bog standard broccili :rotfl:so much more expensive too

I'm trying a few Sp weeks to see if I can get things moving, I have 16 more weigh ins until my 1 year slimmingworld anniversary and would like to be as close to the 5st off mark as possible:o

How do you all find the exercise is affecting you? I really stall when I up my activity levels but it's the exercise that feels good and keeps me motivated! Any got any tips of keeping the exercise (5hours aweek currently) yet still having good weekly loses?

    Thanks

Been back at SW a couple of months and hope to get my 1 stone award next week. Just 1lb short right now.

I've done SW before and I am always a very slow loser. This time due to an injury I have been unable to do any exercise yet I've lost more weight and it's been more consistent. Don't understand that at all.

Just read your post after I posted! Last time I did SW I walked miles every day, cycled a lot and did yoga once a week. I could go weeks and weeks and not lose an ounce. This time, no exercise and losing every single week.
  • Penny Lane I'm a slow loser too, defo a tortoise not a hare!

Change of plans for dinner, everyone else had spaghetti bolognaise so as I'm veggie I had spaghetti with pesto 6syns, topped with cheese hea and 1/3rd salad. Also had a mugshot after swimming.

Enjoy my wine right now :)
