:T well done to emmy, maisie and lush on your losses.
Hope the stag do and everything goes well this weekend lush. It does sound very synful but it's a special occasion. Much reining back come Monday.;)RavenQueen wrote: »Good Morning all , can I join in with you lovely ladies? It was my first WI last night and I've not done SW for year's, so think I'm going to need all the help and advice I can get, lol
You're very welcome.:) SW has changed a bit from years ago but I'm sure you'll pick it up very soon. Just ask all the questions you want and, if it helps, post your menus too. It's good for planning and we'll comment if we see any errors.
MrsR do you snack when you go to the rugby matches? DH and I take a Crunchie to home games and I think greentiger has her wine gums. When I was getting to target I used to take satsumas for a half time snack but it's not the same.:(
betty, because I loathe tasteless burger buns I have always avoided them so it doesn't bother me to have burger and chips without any bread. I have a pile of fried onions, tomatoes and mushrooms as well as the SW chips and then something green as well. You'd be better off with another burger than a roll. Just an idea.:)
fozzie, I don't think it matters that you're eating just when you feel hungry. SW doesn't specify portion sizes and provided you eat on plan when you are hungry then you should be fine. You know I'm going to say you should still have your third Speed though:o. You might lose from just eating less but that's not likely to continue.
I'll be doing my food shop later but haven't done my meal plan yet. I've had my SW breakfast (ham, eggs, mushrooms on half a HEB toast) and I'll have a JP for lunch (cottage cheese, spring onion and beetroot). Dinner is yet to be decided but I know I'll be having wine syns with it.0 -

Just jumping to say that sometimes I use 2 portabello mushrooms as buns - it's a different texture to the meat and sometimes you can fool yourself into thinking you're having a proper burger. Welcome to the thread RavenQueen  Link for a burger recipe here http://www.slimmingworld.co.uk/recipes/ultimate-slimming-world-burger.aspx, but if you have a favourite recipe then use that as long as you're using 5% or less fat meat then you should be fine.

Hi all, hope everyone is okay.
Welcome to the thread RavenQueen.
Quick question - I'm trying to have another SP day today but I'm not sure what to have this evening - we've just had our main meal of the day (chicken fajitas with wholemeal wraps that I'm counting as my HEBs) and I was thinking of ham, egg and beans but that's all P, is that ok? I've had plenty of Speed already as I had fruit for breakfast and salad, peppers and onions with the fajitas. We're doing fish and chips later so there's also the option of a piece of fish, minus the batter, but I'll still have the same problem as I'd have peas with it, again, all P.
On the burger bun topic, I don't miss them at all! Years ago when my children were still at home we often had cheeseburgers and chips as a Saturday night treat (the only meal we ate in front of the telly) and I always struggled with eating it all. Now I just do onion and sliced tomato. I like the portobello mushroom idea - DH would love that.
It's nearly the weekend!have a good one everyone.

:T Well Done on your lossShala . Did you get to help in the shop?
lois , your meal is all healthy free food so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Raven , I used to make my own SW burgers but now I buy Sainsbury's BGTY frozen ones. They're lovely and meaty and at just 1 syn each save a lot of faffing about.
ETA: actually called BGTY chargrilled quarter pounders
Glad you got to make your muffins flutterby . It's good to start the day properly. Hope baby group goes well and enjoy your treat whatever you choose.
Meal plan done and I'm just off to do my food shop. Decided on smoked haddock with SW chips, tomatoes, mushrooms and something green. I think mange tout is on Super 6 in Aldi.0 -
Sorry not posting much...it's a pain in the butt typing with one hand. WI in the morning...hoping for a loss.0
