I think there's another issue with mashed/stewed fruit flutterby in that you've started breaking the fibre down before you eat it so less energy used in digestion. No idea why that doesn't apply to veg?? Personally I ignore it as it's something I do very rarely. I suppose if you did it all the time you'd soon know if it made a difference.
Have a good holiday rebster and deal with it when you get back.
Today I went into the city centre at lunchtime again and didn't buy any lunch. I'm pleased to be so mse but I was looking longingly at Greggs.:D I had the LO Austrian hash when I got home and enjoyed it.0 -
So today I thought I would try and concentrate on eating when I am hungry and not because its "time to eat".
B - nope, not hungry
L - made crispy cookies with my HEB oats, added a tiny amount of dried fruit and mini marshmallows. I bought a 35g packet of dried fruit from Sainsbobs and counted them out into 4 portions!!2 syns
I was going to have fruit as my speed but not hungry after cookies and a cuppa. I suppose the trick would have been to eat the fruit 1st.
T - I made chicken chasseur from the latest SW mag - gorgeous!! Added extra mushrooms and onions. Had it with mashed potatoes (tried Butter Buds for the 1st time 2 syns ) and peas.
So this evenings snacks will need to be fruit to boost my speed, I have raspberries, nectarines and Jaffa easy peelers waiting.
BUT if I am not hungry, do I eat them just to up my speed???
I really feel I SHOULD listen to my body but I also feel I am not following SW to the letter.
Of course this is just one day and no doubt I will be back to stuffing my face tomorrow :rotfl:0 -
Reporting a 2.5 lb loss this week. Very pleased with that :j (especially as I came on within two hours of WI and have felt really bloated since yesterday afternoon). Now 11 lbs to target.
Had a total numpty moment at lunch though. Each week (on a Sunday afternoon) I chop up a load of salad veggies (cucumber - minus the seeds, peppers, celery and radishes) into a tupperware, and then just grab a couple of handfuls each night into my lunchbox with some salad leaves and cherry tomatoes and whatever meat/protein I'm having. Last night, I ripped the bag the leaves came in so just set up two lunchboxes (as that would finish the "gribbly bits" and cherry tomatoes), and dressed one set and added a lovely marinaded chicken breast. Guess which box I took to work  yup, the one with undressed salad and no "main":D:rotfl: Fortunately, the Spar over the road from work had some ham, but I was so bloody annoyed at myself (and undressed salad leaves are meh!)
Made it better tonight though by having chips. 5 syns worth of oven chips, done in the actifry. Totally worth it.We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Hi all
Late checking in this week but I have been super busy.
Congrats on SOTW Bettyboof and to all the other losers.
I managed to lose 1.5lbs this week so happy with that.
Will try to post my menu's for the rest of the week and stay on track. Good luck to everyone else.0 -
Thanks for the support yesterday everyone. Left work early, went to the gym and then just crashed out on the sofa last night. No curry sauce to be found but did pick up the paella so had that with a bunch of salad. Also my boss phoned me and we had a rather long chat about everything and we've come up with a plan to deal with the situation (hopefully!)
Have an entire day with a developer today so will be pretty brain dead at the end of it.
B - FF yogurt, benefit light bar (1/2 HEB), pineapple and melon fingers, cucumber and pepper strips
L - Subway salad
D - SW burger, cheese (HEA), SW chips, mushrooms, salad
S - Benefit light bar (1/2 HEB), Fibre plus brownie (4.5 syns?), clementines

good morning all,
pleased to report a loss of 1.5lb last night
Today:
breakfast: strawberry wheatbran cake - half my heb and 1 syn for 50g chopped strawberries
following it up with a passionfruit shortly
lunch: not really 100% sure yet as I have an event to run. probably a free aldi cuphotz and an apple (drinking diet coke at the event)
tea: meatballs and pasta with garlic bread - 3 syns for sauce, 3 for meatballs, 5 for a small slice of garlic bread, cheese from hea on top
body magic, walk to event, walk for lunchtime break, walk back to office
drinks: water/nas squash and a new herbal tea I found - rooibos with vanilla. 5 boxes of 10 individually wrapped tea bags for £1 in fultons. it's divine and no caffeine (not that that is a problem for me as I don't have a high caffeine intake usually) and no need for milk so can use my hea for some cheese n my pasta and meatballs
this weekend is a busy one; we are off to event city Manchester for the sewing, stitching and hobbycaft show tomorrow morning (mil wanted to bring us cold bacon sandwiches but we don't like them - instead i will make a wheatbran cake tonight with carrot and strawberries in, 1 syn, and i have bought some free cans of pop to take along) then in the evening we are having our joint stag/hen thing at the dogs which includes chicken and chips in a basket - i'll be sharing mine with little one hough and will eat some speed before we go! Then Sunday we have a wowcher for the bingo with includes 'chips and 1 topping' each - will keep Monday-Thursday pretty tight to accommodate these though************************************
