    Evening all
Quick post before bed. Had a real upset tummy today :( it's something I struggle with quite a lot and I think it's probably IBS- seems it's quite common among us fibromyalgia people. I'm off to the doctor about my chronic pain on Friday so I think I'll mention it then. I haven't eaten a huge amount but I've just kept drinking water and I seem to be okay now thankfully. I attempted to start my uni work earlier but I was also trying to follow my rugby teams match on Twitter so gave up in the end :D
    Today's menu:
B: Melon slices. 2 Quorn sausage patties (1 syn) turkey rashers, 2 fried eggs, part HEXA x 2 light processed cheese slices.
L: HEXB x 2 HiFi bars, litre of sparkling water
T: Kirsty's sausage and mash ready meal (4.5 syns) 2 x Steamfresh garlic and herb veg (3 syns) mango, glass of 7Up Free Mojito
S: 4 Ryvita Crackerbreads (4 syns) wafer thin chicken, gherkins. Packet of Sunbites Popcorn sweet and salt (2.5 syns) Litre of sparkling water.
    Syns: 15 exactly
    Goodnight all xx

Can I ask a question red target weights?

When I was with WW and with them there was a max & min weight that your target could be in.

Does SW have the same max & min ? I can't find anything (though there is a healthy bmi chart in the book) and I was told I set my target (which seems daft)

You really do pick the weight you want to be. That's one of the reasons I didn't continue WW as I was told I would have to be a weight which is not right for me and I couldn't afford the £50 for a doctors note to tell them that weight wouldn't be right for me!

Morning all, hope everyone had a good weekend. I enjoyed the carvery but it wasn't the kind where you choose your own extras, the servers put everything on the plate. I very generously gave 2 roasties to DH so only had 1 small one, and he also had my Yorkshire pud, but have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed the cauliflower cheese (he didn't get any of that!) I was quite light on HEs yesterday so I'll count some of it towards HEA/B.

I had a sneaky peak on the scales yesterday and I'd lost 1lb but this morning I've gained a pound  so as I'm sure it's just a fluctuation I'd like to go with STS again please Shala.

Abbafan - well done for your 6st award and for such a great loss this week. :T

Gettingtheresometime - that's the good thing about SW in my opinion, not every one wants to be as thin as they would be with a BMI in the acceptable range, I certainly don't. I read in the Sun yesterday that Kelly Brook lost 26lbs through work/stress but she'd regained it because she prefers being curvy. I don't know what her BMI is with the extra 26lbs but I've a feeling it's more than 25 and she looks great.

flutterbyuk25 - welcome to the thread, congratulations on the new baby and well done for losing your baby weight so quickly. :T SW doesn't support Red and Green plans anymore so you can't look up the syn values or HEA/Bs and your Consultant won't be able to advise you on it, however if you've got some old books with the information in you could still do it. The Green plan certainly suited vegetarians but I think EE and EESP are both adaptable, I think someone else here is a veggie so I'm sure they'll be able to help and there is advice on the SW website.

If I have looked at right week when we finished and done my maths correct I have put on 1.5lbs during the holidays was doing really well then had that blip on scales last week

Never mind I did treat myself to some joggers in Tesco this last week and may have been elasticated waist ;) But size 16 big so I bought size 14 :j:j:j
    .
I'm sure you're work colleagues won't be able to tell the difference Tweets, and you'll soon lose those little blighters. :D Good news re the joggers. :T

Have a good week everyone, good luck for your weigh-ins.

  • You'll be great as shop lady Shala - look how you keep all of us organised in here! Well done for stepping out of your comfort zone.

Abbafan congratulations on your six stone award, that's an amazing achievement! :T:T:T

Welcome to our newbies and good luck everyone with weigh-in this week - may the force be with you.

PS I was thinking the other day that it would be good if we could drop in to other SW groups whenever we needed them - not to weigh-in, just to sit and listen when we're feeling weak. Kind of like AA. That's a bit weird isn't it?! I blame the fact that I have a temperature! :rotfl:
  • Hi all...didn't get to post over the weekend...went to group and weighed in - so with this broken elbow, the cast and I'm pretty sure loads of fluid (arm is very swollen) I'm reporting in with a 1 and 1/2 gain ...I'll just bite the bullet and take that...I'll be sure to lose something when I get the cast off.

I'm coping with the pain better - it's very stiff though...2 weeks down the line so I should expect that I guess.

(Lois Lane - I'm always curious to see if giving up the alcohol has a significant impact on weight loss....what's your thoughts?)

Morning! STS here Shala, no surprises really as I've been eating what I can when I can and picking a bit at stuff I really shouldn't.

Last day of no alarm as Top Boy is back at school tomorrow and I'm at work Wednesday, so made the most of it and snoozed until about 10.

B/D - Egg and beans on HEXB toast, apple and melon

T - Unsure yet. Maybe savoury mince.

BM - Shopping and dog walking plus another hour or so of ironing to get through. Never ends in this house and there's only three of us.

HEXA will be milk in tea.

Strictly back on plan today. No more excuses. Even if I don't feel like eating, I can make sure what I do eat is SW friendly.

How much peanut butter is 2 syns please Maisie and is it crunchy? I love peanut butter, but have always thought it would be far too high. With the amount I used to use, it probably would be...
  • Well - not knowing what I am doing but having been fairly careful this week I reckon on my own scales that I have managed to lose 2 lbs.
However I am going off for my join up and first weigh-in this afternoon so from now on will be able to go by the SW scales.

Well done to all of you this week whether you have lost, STS or gained - remember tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life.

Oh, beanie, I hope you’ve not done too much damage to yourself.

    Hi and congratulations, flutterby.

Woop woop and double woop, abbafan. That is brilliant!

    Well done, dominosue.

Well, the Scotland game went ok, after one big scare and a couple of little ones. Not a good performance really, despite that 1-5 win.

I have a 0.4lb gain to report, shala. I blame the naan bread on Saturday. Did I mention I was really, really hungry after missing my lunch? ;) Thanks for all the work you do for us.

    Monday’s Meals
Breakfast: ½ grapefruit, hexb toast with 1 WW cheese triangle (same calories as laughing cow light so 1/5 of hexa?)
    Snack: chocolate ginger (4)
Lunch: Batchelors Super Rice (Chinese), rocket, courgette, red pepper, syboes, prawns followed by Onken 0% fat apple & mango yogurt (2) and a banana
    Snack: Quavers (4)
Dinner: stew, potatoes, carrots, green beans
