    Good afternoon :)

Still needed a shedload of sleep and feel shattered still, but better than yesterday.

B/D - Bacon, egg and mushroom toasted sandwich (HEXB + 2) and two cups of tea.

    T - chilli

I'll have some fruit to keep me going in between.

BM - Shopping, dog walking, cleaning

Three days til I'm back at work *sobs*

Been out for my long slow run today and boy was it long. Did 6.62 miles in 1:30:07 - this is my longest run EVER!!! Managed to do 10K (6.2miles) in 1:24:46. I'm aiming for 1hr 15 but I think that might be optimistic.
Mentally I'm ecstatic because it means I can definitely do the 10K. Physically I feel good too. Tired yes but not like my legs are about to drop off.
I have no idea what this is going to do to the scales tomorrow - could go either way I suppose. I'm also treating myself to Chinese tonight but will have plain boiled rice and whatever has the lowest syns according to the syn bible
  • Hello to everyone :j

I am back from my holiday and 1st weigh in is on Tuesday.....dread to think what the scales will say!

While I have been away, there has been to doo-dah at group with the scales being wrong, so quite pleased I missed that - big losses for all one week and then gains the next apparently (just what I have gleaned from Facebook).

I have finally seen the surgeon about my knee replacement and hopefully it will be by November, so even more reason to try and reduce my BMI!

    Hi all

quite a busy weekend. It's amazing how quickly they are over lol.

    menu today was:

Breakfast: Bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and french toast (HeB) and 2 x DG coffee (4 syns)
Lunch: Apple (not really hungry so just had some speed to keep me going)
dinner: Bacon wrapped in bacon with SW roast potatoes, baby core, carrots and brocolli, 2 x yorkies (4 syns)
supper: will be a big bowl of strawberries and yogurt - looking forward to them

Hoping for a good loss this week and then I will start my next 6 week countdown.

Hi everyone! I'd really like to lose 11lbs by the end of the challenge. That will take me back to my wedding weight by my first anniversary (I think, will definitely know when I weigh in tomorrow morning).

I was well on track to do it but it was my nan's funeral last week and I've eaten nothing but rubbish all week. I'm hoping that the challenge will keep me focused.

Not going to talk about my food for today as it's shamefully off plan (but there were vegetables with my epic roast!). Good luck to everyone else at the end of the last challenge and will check in with you all tomorrow.

    The football was so dull!

I'm getting back into it, but I'm struggling today, I made paella from a SW booklet but it was a rather tasteless. Now I have the munchies but I'm out of syns for the day and can't face any more apples or peaches, hoping a strong coffee will sort me out.

In addition I'm not expecting a loss this week as it's ladies / star week....and I always bloat around this time of the month.

That's a brilliant result gettingtheresometime if you've been to the US for a bit, how did you find the food out there? Easy to adapt? did you eat out a lot or were you able to cook?
    s

    Confession time.

I only went for 4 days!

However we did drink in the evenings (as you do) and it does as a little bit of a shock when you realise those 2 pints of lager you had in themselves was 20 syns!

However I did try and lessen the damage....I took fruit to eat on the plane so I wouldn't be tempted by their breakfast and walked my butt off during the day.

Also it doesn't help when you realise that lemonade which you thought was free was actually 2.5 syns a serving!
