Right Day 1 for me today :) and Thank you all for the welcomes :)

Breakfast : I had 65g (close enough) Wholemeal soft roll with one frylight egg and x2 frylight low fat bacon medallions, x2 Tangerines and milk in coffees

Lunch : HM Carrot and Sweet Potato Soup (found recipe on pintrest and it really was lovely) Consisted of 1 Large Onion, 2 Cloves of Garlic , 4 Carrots , 1/2tsp Ginger , 1/2tsp Mild Chilli Powder , 2 Medium Sweet Potatoes and Veg Stock - just saute ingredients and then add stock simmer and blitz ... love the ginger and sweet potato together. Its supposed to make 4 but I only got 3 out of it and put the other two in the fridge for now.

Snack : Activia fat free yogart and a Pear

Dinner : I might have a pasta in sauce sachet or I might have another bowl of that soup ... if its a Pasta in sauce one it will be a syn free one.

Snacks : I will probably have a Cadburys Highlights Hot Chocolate 2 syns and Im not sure what else :/

  • Evening everyone. Have been trying to have a catch up with you since just after 7.00 this morning. I've read all the posts since my last visit but there are far too many to comment on individually.

TIE - take good care of yourself x

Matron - congratulations on reaching target and joining us on the sofa :T

greentiger - hope you have a lovely time in Rome.

maman - I keep a fiver in my purse just in case I have to pay my SW fees. Thankfully it hasn't happened yet but there is always a first time.

:wave: welcome Debbie and wander - good luck to you both.

Well done to all the losers among us and anyone with a NSV :T:T. It's not always down to the numbers on the scales.

Well I have weigh in tomorrow - have been on plan everyday when I went alsolutely bonkers :eek:. Well time will tell.

Hopefully I'll be able to pop back tomorrow night with my result.

May have to go veggie this week to save all my syns for the bottle of coffee Baileys that jumped into my trolley today (I still miss the Biscotti flavour they discontinued). I basically don't drink maybe the odd bitter shandy when it's very hot but Baileys is a guilty pleasure. Oh dear, just looked up the syn value, not too bad really I suppose.

    Morning all

My scales weren't working when I tried to weigh in this morning, they probably need a new battery, so could you put me down as STS this week please Shala.

That depends on how self disciplined you are when it comes to pouring it! I love Baileys but a single measure is never enough.

Welcome to the thread Debbiedodge and thanks for the soup recipe, it sounds lovely. I like carrot and coriander soup but DH isn't keen on the coriander so maybe he'd prefer your recipe. I've got loads of carrots at the moment too - I did an online shop and bought chantenay carrots and 1kg of proper carrots by mistake.

Well done for your NSV Emmylou. :T It takes a while to get used to looking for smaller sizes and it's a nice feeling when you fit into something you didn't expect to.
Was lazy and preferred cuddles in bed than getting up.

    Was that Body Magic? ;)

    Have a good week everyone.

Planning a low syn day to try and rein back some of the naughty syns at the weekend!

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs; 1 slice crustless WM (part HEB)
L - ham salad sandwich; 2 slices crustless WM (rest of HEB)
D - local butchers sausages, mash, green beans, peas, HM onion gravy (1 syn for 2 sausages)

    HEA will be milk

Will also be drinking some of the Ribena winter spice blackcurrant - have to say can't really taste the spices but it makes a change from tea and saves the milk!

Shame about your scales lois but just keep plodding and have a good loss next week.:)

The trouble is b_e_g that I've never had to pay for going above target for 5+years. I've been under a few times but never over. I kept telling myself that it didn't matter but I was delighted when I got the loss especially as I didn't feel any thinner. I only go to WI every month to 6 weeks and usually I make sure it's on the back of being really good but this time going off plan for all the September family birthdays caught up with me.

I'm starting 3 full 100% on plan days today. Still undecided what to do for lunch as I've not made any soup yet and don't really fancy a JP as I had one yesterday evening as a snack. I might just graze on apples and pears until dinnertime.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, ham, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, HEA milk for drinks
    L: tba
D: savoury mince, new potatoes, carrots, cabbage, peas
    Syns: none planned
  • Afternoon all - had a STS this week - I guess I have to understand that making major changes (like working out with the PT) will not necessarily show up as weight loss for a while...will keep on plodding.

I'm going to try and find a Thursday morning class this week as I'm taking the weekend of with hubby as it's my birthday Monday coming and we're having a Staycation - basically going to the cinema...eating out...spoiling ourselves so I'm not going to go to class on Saturday morning.
