I must admit I think SP would only work for me if I was able to plan everything in advance. It's. It not something I think can be done very easily on a whim. I survived yesterday and had that massive salad with a few syns for some feta too.
Today is most definitely NOT an SP day as I went to Nandos and had the spicy rice as a side. Was very yummy. Probably about 7 syns for the whole meal and extra Diet Coke today. No more and I'm drinking squash now. Couple of hours until my 5K so need to try and time it so I don't get stitch when I run.
Oh and I didn't have a dessert at Nandos and I didn't have an ice cream from the van when my friend got a screwball. It's great having this ability to weigh everything all up and say no and not feel like I'm depriving myself. I was full and genuinely didn't want any ice cream :D

Really awful apt at the dentist yesterday, swollen and painful left side of face and don't think its going away any time soon. Had 3 injections for one side tooth!! Think it effects my sinuses. Hopefully it calms down tonight . Back to weigh in for me tomorrow night - its going to be pretty grim. Nothing I can do about it now, just crack on and try my best not to get derailed again. Feeling really uncomfortable so hopefully this time I embrace it.

Evening all. Day 2 on plan :) Today's menu looks like this:

B: All bran (heB) + milk (heA)
L: batchelors tomato and chili couscous
D: fried egg, beans, mushrooms, LM sausages, SW chips
Snacks: lots of speed fruit, 2xalpen lights (6 syns), possibly something this evening if I'm peckish

Also went for a run today, so feeling quite happy :) It went better than last weeks run where I ate a mars bar on the way back!!!

    Congrats rj and Arkers.

Hugs, lantanna and rj; hope you feel better soon.

I’m relieved to say, I’ve been in better control of myself today.

    Pre-breakfast: banana
Breakfast: hexb Allbran with ML vanilla with choc sprinkle yogurt
Lunch: omelette with ham, red pepper, red onion and mushrooms, Liberte mango yogurt (1 ½ )
    Snack: 2 x ginger snaps (4)
Dinner (this is where all the rest of my syns are going): mango chicken, sweetcorn, beetroot and potato wedges (frozen ones)
Snack: 3 x mini babybel light (hexa) and grapes

Tuesday night is family night and I was in a hurry so I made mango chicken (dead easy and delicious BUT the entire recipe is chicken, jar mango chutney, tub crème fraiche – I did use the light version) with Lidl frozen potato wedges. DS and DSiL didn’t make it so had to use leftovers tonight. I did have a whole bag of frozen wedges not needed too. Normally leftovers would go in freezer but DH brought in 2 cartons of ice cream and there was no more room, not even after freezer tetris. I won’t let perfectly good food go to waste. I will probably be having wedges again tomorrow, if they are still alive 

  • STS for me today. not too bad considering the birthday cake and wine.
Had a peppered quorn steak for tea and it was really nice. At lunchtime, I went to M&S and fot some fruit and had a coffee whilst the children got kfc. I don't like that anyway so no hardship there at all.
Watching bake off now nod really want biscuits - honey shortbread in particular but I'll just have to drool as we don't have any.:D

A shocking day for speed today (sorry Maman )

These new tablets have made me feel tired out, but also not hungry, which is a pleasant change!

B/D) Poached eggs and beans on HEXB toast and an apple

    T) Chicken, chorizo and sweetcorn bake

Have had plenty of water as they've also given me a dry mouth.

Took Top Boy for the last of his uniform today, which involved a good 40 minute walk and did an hour of ironing so BM covered.

I might have to change the time I take these as I could honestly drop off now and Top Bloke won't even be in until 11!

Weighed in this evening with a STS - not too bad considering the amount of rubbish I've consumed over the last week!!

Shala, please can I set a 5lb target for this challenge. If I can reach that, I think it will be time for me to call target :)

Enjoy your treat meal tonight lush whatever you decide. I'm confused about hospitality trays. What are they?

thanks maman it was lovely - I had lasagne and garlic bread then we ordered a dessert to share but unusually for us we couldn't finish it! really nice though just to have a little break from normality.

if it means a gain tomorrow then I'm ok with that. I think I'm finally coming round to the idea that its ok to gain sometimes or STS and that there's truly no shame in it etc. big mental step for me

the trays are just little bits of nice/useful things in the toilets. not sure if i'm doing one in the gents yet but in the ladies theres combs, mints, mini hairspray, plasters, body spray, cotton buds, make up sponges, safety pins, a lint roller and face wipes. then theres a little poem basically asking that they use what they need and leave the rest for everyone else. I haven't spent a lot but I figure its enough to get someone through the reception if their hair gets out of place or they spill something on their outfit etc. in the disabled/baby change there's size 0/1 nappies ( 2 newborns coming) wet wipes and nappy bags plus a couple of tiny pots of sudocreme.

behind the bar I'm putting a box with paracetamol/ibuprofen, rennies in case we need them. I don't want to risk kids getting them but we can let people know to ask for them if needed :)

I couldn't think of much for the gents: lint roller, hair gel, combs, mints...then I lose it ha
