    Morning :)

Getting much quieter on the site now, trouble is, now we're back to having regular customers that want to come in and chat for ages!

DH and I are big fans of Casualty/Holby City although we gave up watching soaps about 10 years ago we went back to those ones. There was bad news in Holby last night and I'm not going to give it away but the previews had already done that beforehand anyway.

Beanie - I'm with others who have said to call target when you're ready rather than go by the BMI charts. I've ranted before about how unrealistic they are so I'm not going to get on my soapbox again now. Suffice to say, I read a report a while ago that said people who are in the 25-30 range (technically overweight) are actually more healthy than those in the recommended range of 20-25.

Well done RJHammond for Slimmer of the Month at your group. :T I don't know what the rules are for that award but I'm guessing you need to have lost every week, which would exclude a lot of people.

I'm actually thinking I might just have a mahoosive salad!

That's what I had last night with 1 syn worth of balsamic dressing, a HEB roll, HEA of cheese and I really enjoyed it!

    It's September 1st tomorrow - hooray!!!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Enjoy your meal out Lush...

Ready salted pom bears dipped in mango chutney  are amazing TIE :rotfl: you can tell why I'm not at target yet can't you!

Welcome back Rebster - treat the new challenge as your fresh start, you can't change what's happened the last few weeks. good luck x

Well done on SOTM rjhammond :T:T

menu today for me - red day as it turns out!
B - banana, Peanut butter overnight oats (2)
    L - ham, cheesespread (0.5hea) ryvita(heb's)
T - fish and roast veg salad and pickles :(
    S - melon, crisps(4.5) refreshers thing (2) milk (hea)

Not looking forward to tea, but OH likes fish so sometimes you've just got to go with it. I'm definitely seeing food as fuel this week rather than treats.. all our dinners have been really boring and functional.. but this is the mind set I need to get into.

Hope everyone's having a good dayxx

Today's a day of sorting out and getting ready to fly back to France tomorrow. Final washing done and on the line; think it's probably nearly dry by now.

Not looking forward to getting up early tomorrow but no choice as need to be at the airport by 6am and it's a 1.5 hour journey to get there so will need to get up about 3.45am!

Will pop in as and when while I'm away. Back early October.

My lunch of the moment which I usually buy when I have my Sainzbob shop is the Tast e the Difference Beetroot & Goat's salad. (150g) I bin the dressing but do add the seeds. I tried to find it yestesterday on SW online but couldn't. I will need to check whether the goat's cheese can be a HEA and the seeds would need to be synned otherwise I think it would be free.

Failing that, I usually wing my lunch (yesterday it was a chocolate bar (too busy to stop properly :) but I need to be more organised

Thoughts on calling target & still be overweight?
Not 100% on the BMI thing anyway.

I agree with others beanie, just call target at a weight you're happy with for now. If you change your mind later then you can lose some more. It has to fit your lifestyle. I don't even know what my BMI is. I'm happy being a small size 12 so I'm sticking with that.:)

SP just isn't for me I'm afraid so I'm pretty useless.

I only do SP meals rather than days or weeks and most of those have been by accident.:D I think it would take quite a bit of planning to do a full week, not sure my DH would be happy with SP and I'm far too lazy to cook separate meals. I think the best way for me would be to make sure the carb portions in any given dinner were relatively small compared with the lean meat and Speed. I find SP lunches (which DH doesn't share) easier as I can have omelette with salad/pickles or lentil and veg soup.

been for my 1hr walk and bought a few more bits for the bathroom/hospitality trays for the wedding

Enjoy your treat meal tonight lush whatever you decide. I'm confused about hospitality trays. What are they?

I haven't been rummaging through the Queen's wardrobe shala. I went to this:
    https://www.royalcollection.org.uk/collection/themes/exhibitions/fashioning-a-reign-90-years-of-style-from-the-queens-wardrobe-0
It was very good and you get to see some state rooms, art collection and gardens too. Unfortunately the meal and bottle of wine I shared with friend afterwards were not so good.:o

Have a great holiday denise, good to hear from you when you get wifi.

Back on it today. EE menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO meat and veg (one potato so almost SP)
D: chicken with pepper sauce (Sainsbury's YS 1 syn), SW chips, runner beans, mushrooms and anything else I find in fridge
Syns: may have some wine because I fancy it and this is a bit of a week off for me.:)
