morning all :hello: I should be at work but am delaying going in, poor night's sleep :( given that I'm meant to be at home today anyway I'm not feeling the love :rotfl:

    Small list:
check banking, surveys and FPL - banking no change - surveys are a bit lean at the moment
Meals from stores - DH made me a sandwich for lunch
signed up for martins's club thing in his e-mail - all looks as expected :)
make pesto tonight with basil from veg box that I thought was spinach :o

Think that's about it for now, not very inspiring - sorry. Hope you're all ok

    Morning all,
Woke up with a rotten headache today so am surprised I'm managing to achieve anything but some painkillers have taken the edge off it & with the kitchen window open for fresh air, I'm doing a bit of a cook up. So today:
*Prepped home-grown veg for the following 1) squash soup.....currently in slow cooker 2) squash, onions, tomatoes, garlic etc roasting in oven to freeze as veggie crumble base 3) 3 trays of tomatoes to roast for making pasta sauce. All will go in freezer for autumn meals.
*Pick runner beans to go with tonight's meal which will also use up 2 huge courgettes.
*Free leisure as intend to watch a French film I recorded months ago. May update blog too. As I mostly only share it among Facebook friends, I was utterly amazed to discover recently that the last post I'd done had been read by about 200 people!! Was so surprised as it's pretty much just growing stuff, cooking stuff & naughty antics of cat & I started it for little more than my own amusement.
*Write shopping list. We did meal plans right up to when we go camping so as to maximise using stuff we already have in the freezer/pantry.
*Mascara tube in mug of boiling water this morning to get the last bit out.
OK....time to slice this colander of beans. Have a good day all.

Thanks Bob....Well, I looked at the web link, but it looks bit complicated to me :o I am one of those people who has terrible problems with deckchairs and other such folding things :o:o:o I can't imagine me being able to put it together / unfold it or whatever in time :eek: :rotfl:

    Today I have / will:
Dog walks x 2, he had a lovely play with a springer spaniel this morning :) It only flattened him once :rotfl:Done, he had a good play this afternoon too, and was naughty and wouldn't come when I called him, till he was good and ready!
Dog to groomer first thing, not moneysaving, but he certainly looks a lot tidier! Done, he had the canine equivalent of a crew cut :rotfl:
Small shop, as I want to do some batch cooking this afternoon / evening Done
Popped into sales unit while out, to tidy up Done, there seemed to be a few gaps :)
French beans to pick (and courgettes no doubt ), though it keeps intermittently raining here Found 4 huge courgettes
BBQ to clean :( I should have done this before :oDone, it was only really the grill thing that needed cleaning, and given my efforts this week on my range cooker, it wasn't much in comparison!
Water any pots that need it (plants in pots can need watering even when it is raining, so this isn't as daft as it sounds) Strawberries in a wall mounted planter thing, and bay tree. The rest can wait till tomorrow, and make do with the rain! Really oppressive weather here, not at all nice :(
Made a huge chicken curry and a beef stew so far, still want to do a chilli :D

    One solitary surveyfor onepoll today
Start thinking what we will need to take away with us this weekend, will be camping, so hope the weather is ok! Started a list!

I am sure there ought to be more, after my lack of activity yesterday - I will pop back later to update!

Dawn honestly its not hard. It comes like a circle flat, but has two fold out legs. You can even keep it with a liner in then simply pop it down when needed. My other bit of advice is why not just pop her in a pull up for outings that stress you out? I used to sometimes use them for car journies. I know that pull ups are not an effective potty training strategy on their own as it creates mixed messages but they do provide an alternative for when you need to do jobs like the post office where toiletting is an issue.
