Money Moral Dilemma: Should I buy gifts for both halves of a couple?

I'm a singleton, I buy for my siblings and their partners seperate presents for birthdays and sometimes seperate and sometimes joint for Christmas...I just do an amount per person.
To be honest, it's never really crossed my mind, I would feel a little stingy not to give to either my brother in law or sister in law, they are family as far as I am concerned.
At the amounts I allocate to each person, it's not a huge sum anyway (£5 per person for birthday, £10 joint Christmas - that is nieces, nephews, siblings, BIL, SIL, more for parents and offspring)We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
