Now then, Lulu92. How are things today?
Much better today, thank you. Finally had a conversation where he spoke his mind as well. I think it hit home with him that I've not been happy and if things don't improve there won't be a relationship. I explained why I feel the way I do and he understood. It'll take some work but hopefully we're going in the right direction.
My mum then came to pick me up and I asked her to watch the girls while I went upstairs to sort something out, then I come downstairs and his parents were there, no text or call to say they were coming over either! I wasn't happy about it and neither was OH.Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

That is fabulous news Lulu, lets hope a corner has been turned, at the very least its a start and more than you have been getting.:DAndypandyboy wrote: »Re read that quote. It says I don't believe Lulu is a doormat....Lulu has never said she was a doormat, that was the implication of SKA's post not something the OP said.
So, again, I ask you to point to a post where the OP has been accused of lying....rather than deliberately misrepresent a post for your own ends.
All im going to be doing is pointing you exactly to the same thing because now your being disengenuous about the tone of your postings with Ska.
I'm afraid im not going to be arguing with you further, its adding absolutely no value to the thread at all now, carry on if you please but you'll be singing to an empty seat.
I think this thread must have hit its in house fighting quota by now.:o,Fully paid up member of the ignore button club.If it walks like a Duck, quacks like a Duck, it's a Duck.0 -
I am so pleased for you ALL, Lulu92 and I hope that the clearing of the air can begin the communicating and healing that is needed. My fingers are crossed and I shall be thinking of you. Good luck.0

Well my 100% Irish blood trumps your quarter & some ex in laws.....
I also do live in Surrey, in a village - odd thing you mentioned above, is that some sort of threat???
Not sure how the Catholic Church has come into this now unless it's to remind people how primitive/bad the Irish are?
We've had the girl children (odd term) eating the table scraps now we have the perverted priests brought out - that however is unfortunately sadly only too true.
PS - we don't have hamlets in Ireland.
I have 100% Irish Blood and actually live in Ireland.
In my mums family of 12, the men did eat at the table first, as there wasn't room for everyone at the table in one go, the men were also given the best food.
For example if Granny had made a pot of stew, the men would eat what eat what they wanted first, and the girls ate what was left. However, the men and boys were not savages, they knew not to eat it all and make sure there was enough left for everyone.
I would also say we do have hamlets - we just call them small villages - live in a settlement with about 20 houses and a pub, I would probably class it as a hamlet.
Irish times refers to hamlets too.

As for the wilds of Wexford, every county in Ireland (Well 31 of them anyway) has wilds, Wexford is quite hilly around the borders with Wicklow and Carlow, and probably quite rural and wild in these parts!0 -

if OH also wasnt impressed with them just turning up unannounced then its time he stood up to them and said that they need to let you both know in advance if they are coming (so you can make an excuse/turn off the lights and hide pretending to be out
they need to know its unfair on all of you just to turn up when they want - you are trying to get your daughters in a routine and them just arriving probably gets them all excited and unable to sleep.
My guess is that the reason your OH wasnt impressed with them turning up was because you were on your way out and he would be left to settle the girls on his own. Thinking about it, they may have done you a favour by coming as its his time they are now encroaching on
and as for those arguing - you sound like a pair of kids wanting to have the last word - its not your thread and I think everyone is bored of listening to you bicker. either start your own thread and argue that way or just agree to disagree.0 -

I wasn't aware we were arguing.
If you look back at the thread aside from the Irish posts there has not been much dissent. Lulu has been very open and fair in her responses which must have been hard on occasion. It is you who have picked up various posters and asked for an explanation of their posts. When given you have then gone on to make personal comments about said posters.
You really have had the wooden spoon to hand on this thread haven't you? No matter, the posts are there to be read and it is for others to decide who is being disingenuous.;)Save0 -
Morning Lulu, talking to your OH and him really hearing you and vice versa is the first step. I really hope you get your relationship back on track.0
