    Morning all

Did most of my list yesterday, but crashed out in the afternoon. My foot does not like the further reduction in painkillers :(

Must meal plan now so that I can call in for some shopping on the way home from church. Hopefully I shall have enough energy this afternoon to do some computer work, or (if my brain still isn't functioning at that level) maybe tidy up the front garden after those lovely downpours.

Catch up later. Hope everyone has a good day x

Good morning all from an easily excitable me. I am eating toast with the hm apple jam and it is delicious, and today I am going for a bike ride with DS.

Later I may hoover/sweep/mop through, take the hall carpet up etc or I may not.

    Have a great day everyone.

Apple jam sounds lovely Jazee. I've had to put jam making on the back burner while we're in the caravan but hopefully next year I'll be joining you enjoying HM preserves :D

Last full day of the skids - catching an early train back to Sussex tomorrow, then back up again on Friday...our food and entertainment bill this summer holiday has gone through the roof! I am so skint now and still two weeks left. Any ideas for free entertainment gratefully received!

I must sort my bedroom today. Sleeping with all this clutter and chaos around me is depressing.

Iona - rest up, otherwise your foot won't get better. Squidge up next to CY on the sofa - she won't mind x

Kaz - do you work seven days a week? You never seem to have a day off  How do you do it?

Wonder if nicki is awake yet....?

    I was awake Dizzy :rotfl:

DD has washed up, I'm researching something on the computer while I have breakfast and then we're off out for a walk while the weather is dry and cooler at 18C :) I need to pop into a shop in town as I forgot to pick something up when I went earlier in the week. :o

When we get back I have work to do for tomorrow and DD can finish the ironing, and I'll do some more laundry. I don't want to do any then put it out while we're out as the neighbours keep barbecuing fish in the yard and it makes my washing stink. We also need to get bins emptied and the kitchen cleaned.

Off to finish what I was doing. Back later

Dizzy, I used HB's microwave jam recipe (earlier in this week's thread or it could be last week's now, time flies) and it was so easy.

I have watered the indoor plants, WUDUPA, walked LittleyDog, second washload now in WM, hoovered through and mopped the LR and upstairs. A bit of gardening next while I wait for DS.

DH is getting on my pip.

    Hello

Diamond wedding party went well. Catering was excellent. My parents had a lovely time. We have popped over to unload their car this morning. Ds2 coped but was asking to go home from the start.

Today I have stripped our bed and remade it. I have been playing laundry Hokey Cokey with the rain. Duvet cover is now in the td.
House henried. Ironing all done. Bedroom windows and mirrors cleaned.

Ds2's birthday presents collected and spot clear products purchased.

Hello me again. Managed to fit in some gardening around the long bike ride with DS and took DH to work. LittleyDog has also had another walk.
See you all on next week's thread.

    Evening

Back from work, and tired, so eaten a load of odd bits and pieces up, not good for me, but I did eat 5 grapes :)

WM x 2 is on hopefully I will be able to put it out tomorrw as it is currently raining here.

Dizzy, yes I work 7 days a week 47 weeks of the year, then have 5 weeks off, normally at xmas time...........forgive me for not writing more but this is a public forum.........................I just pace myself, I don't have kids, if I did there is no way I can do what I do, hours wise. But then again if I had a higher paid, I would only need one job! but all this work and car booting / eby has paid off all my debts which was the target when I started out, now to be honest it seems to have become a way of life.................for now it will do, I am happy, have a wonderful man and cat, 6 wonderful step grand children, plus 2 adopted grandchildren else where in the world. enough from me!

Jazee apple jam! Why have I never thought of that, we have so any apples this year and we will all be sick of them in a month's time. Thanks to HB too who I think supplied the original recipe.

Been out on the bike, caught up with some washing/tidying. Did a roast for tea. Tired now, wont be late to bed.

Back to work tomorrow, not really looking forward to it.
