After last weeks fall an now this I'm almost dreading what my third injury will be.
Dr told me I'm on three days take it easy so will be doing minimal as my head still feels weird.:D:D
Vibes appreciated, she's breathing more easily and was most crotchety when we got there:D:D
I told her about the lady from Stoke who had a song from The Wizard of Oz played at her funeral, her family were expecting over the rainbow but got ding dong the witch is dead! sis has suggested Fire by Arthur Brown or Light my Fire:rotfl::rotfl: and is thinking of advantages of dying young. Looks like there will be laughs as well as tears as we go through this.

Valli Glad op went well X
Mrs MP take it easy X
My aunt was asked a couple of weeks after my uncle had died, if she was better yet. She had to explain that she hadn't been ill.

Evening,
Hockey was amazing! Now having a beer to calm down.
Valli I'm glad you are both talking about the situation and tackling it the best you can. Lots of hugs xx
Mrs MP omg! Take it easy!
And Iona keep that foot in the air!
I've done, by the way, a full day at the paid stuff, plus all the dailies, plus mad crazy cleaning and tidying after work as Bil here to stay (he only arrived at 8.30pm thank goodness!).
Also our new big window in our kitchen /dining room fitted today. It looks fab (and will be even better when we have got our new kitchen, in about ten years!).0 -
Random drop in but thank you for the tip on limescale remover being good for shower screens. Mine is now really clean for the first time in years." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Exhausted now after first the show jumping then the hockey. Watched the SJ on the computer so at least I got a lot of filing done, hadn't realised the piles had got so high.
Have a great time all you holiday-goers.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Valli I have no experience of this kind of thing but it sounds like you are doing an amazing job, I would want to be able to laugh about it if I could. I am glad that your sister has you.
Have a lovely time Bossy, we went to Filey, a lovely site 10 minutes walk from the beach. It's called Centenary Way and has a really nice family friendly feel to it. Your two would love it. Hope you have some good weather.
Rest of the holiday stuff to unpack today. Trip to York to pick up DS1s new bike then out tonight with some friends. Still in bed but might get up and get moving soon.0 -
MrsMP, you are confined to the sofa, and that is an order for the next 3 days................
Definitely! Take it easy for a change, please, mrs-mp - especially if your head still feels "funny".
Thank you for GWS wishes for my foot/leg. I went out yesterday morning with a friend and managed to carry a tray with 2 cups of coffee to our table without crutches and without wobbling - doing the *right* sort of exercise definitely helps :rotfl: But I did then spend most of the afternoon with my feet propped up on the end of the sofa, and my ankles are far more shapely this morning
Today's plan:
- DH is going off to play trains straight after breakfast
- File paperwork currently spread all over DGS2's bed (he needs the bed this week)
- Dust all through upstairs
- S&S bathroom
- S&S kitchen, empty compost and recycling bins
- Finish hoovering the staircase (top half was done on Wednesday)
- Move 2 plant pots on the decking which are currently under the eaves so not getting full benefit from the big watering can in the sky
- Church meeting at 9.30 for about an hour
- Brain work - course writing and (different) course reading
- Meal plan for next week (complicated by visitors, train journeys etc)
- Sofa surfing in between times
- Set up new laptop
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed, and lots of :rotfl::rotfl: to Valli and sis xx0 -
Bossy if you're off to Filey chances are you'll bump into people I know. Small world. If you see a young black labradoodle with a name from Harry Potter...

Valli - Massive hugs and coping vibes for you and your family xxxx
Healing vibes for those who are injured.
Where has this week gone?!?!?! Sooooo much to do and I know I don't have enough time to do it all today as I have things I HAVE to do outside the house. Its going to be a head down, music cranked up and busier than a bee kind of day for me and then DD when she gets back from seeing her dad. We can't sit round and do nothing, we have to get things done.
Right, time for me to get moving. Back later to grab the lists so I can have some sort of plan to work from. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Glad you were able to have a laugh Valli.
Lots to do today, dishwasher emptied and filled and on again and still more to go - a sign of how bad the house is! Lots of admin type jobs to do on the computer too. Got until 2pm, eek!0
