Yesterday I had NO veg and NO fruit other than bananas.
I really have to work on healthy choices when I'm away from home
Big salad for lunch today - badly needed.
Dinner tonight will be poached fish on pea pesto with thai kale salad and crushed spuds.
ETA: I always steam the kale as it's a goitrogen. It also removes all the bitterness if you steam it.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Beans for breakfast
Grapes as a snack this morning
Home-made cottage pie for dinner. been in freezer a few weeks so can't remember quite what went into it - definitely grated carrot, onion, mushrooms, peas and some spinach - probably 2 portions of veg per serving. Serving it with sweetcorn. Fruit juice.
Total 4 veg : 2 fruit0 -
I haven't eaten all day but brought 2 servings of carrots out with me so am munching through these. I'll make a small salad later so it will be a 4:0 day.
Pea pesto sounds interesting, I'll buy some frozen peas next week.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I had lettuce, cucumber, spring onion, tomato, sweetcorn, grated carrot and pine nuts for lunch, with vinaigrette dressing.
I had dinner earlier and seconds just now - poached fish on pea pesto, crushed spuds tossed in butter, garlic and sundried tomatoes, kale and carrot salad and cashews. Soo nice.

Not a good day yesterday - smoothie for breakfast (1), lunch was just bread and cheese, supper was carrots/broccoli/courgette and aubergines in moussaka (4).
Today has been better - avocado and tomato (2) on toast, smoothie (3); tomato salad; beetroot, carrot, orange and pomegranate salad; watermelon and cucumber salad (9).
You might see a pattern with the salads... and I'll probably having some of the same ones for supper. I also want to roast some fennel and peppers to have with lentils.0 -

Today is my first day of no sugar and healthy eating. I usually eat nutritious food but also pig out with lots of junk food and in greedy large portions. I think nothing of eating whole packets of biscuits.
A big downfall for me are sachets of azera latte. I stock up when they are half price but that just encourages me to have more cups. Some days I can go through the whole box.
I have always been normal size and weight but this year alone I have put on a whole stone. My eating habits have not changed so I'm putting it down to age and hormones. I'm not really very active but I do walk 3 miles to work Monday to Friday.
I've always understood that your fruit and veg 5 a day was to be 5 different colours and potato doesn't count.
Veg... beetroot, broccoli and cauli.
Fruit..... nothing so far
Drinks.... Coconut water but will have a latte later as I don't want a caffeine headache.0
