Actually yesterday ended up being a 2:3 day so the balance is all wrong.
Today has been a 2:0 day (one of those days I've barely eaten).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

back on track(ish) after a couple of difficult days due to work.
Smoothie (1), avocado on toast (2), aubergine curry (3) with lots of green veg (5). Need to eat the tomato salad that's in the fridge as otherwise it will have to be thrown out - I'm away for work again from tomorrow. Also need to deal with some plums and blackberries. Rest of aubergine curry needs freezing as soon as it's cool enough, and there's also some soup to go in made out of the remaining random green veg.0 -
Yesterday was an absolute disater of a day for me in f&v terms.
I'd suffered disappointment during the day and hit the carbs hard in the late afternoon in the form of breakfast cereal. I ate a bit and then just kept on going. Things declined further in the evening so I thought sod it, lets have some more. I have never thought of myself as an emotional binger (more of a sugar-addicted grazer) but I disproved this beyond dispute, I must have had at least 3000 kcal in total yesterday. The worst thing was, I was completely aware of what I was doing but still eschewed all the veg I'd prepared in advance! I reluctantly forced some fruit down afterwards making it a 0:2 day, and woke up this morning with the fat puffy face I deserved. It later occurred to me that it does not cost a lot of money to destroy your health with carbohydrates.
I've written it off as a bad day and am seeking redemption now. Its 3:1 so far - not including mushrooms (protein) and greenish banana (carbs) - and I hope to sneak in an extra serving of veg before I go out this evening.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I hope you're feeling better today VfM.
I've been out for the afternoon and evening, so I had dinner before I left - poached fish, spuds, carrots and parsnips and cabbage.
Supper was thai chicken curry with beans and sweetcorn.
