The Cake was great! The first edible one he has ever made. He is deliriously shocked and surprised. The buttercream, however, was so much more than he had anticipated, so there is another bowl of it in the fridge for use later in the week- he was just going to pile it high, but I had to step in when it got over 1cm thick and he had masses left over.
