It feels exactly like going to a festival but getting paid. The cheapest tickets were £259, I paid £0 and will come out of this with nearly £700 and I have done what I wanted to do at the festivals. Yay!

Back from two weeks of back to back graduations, one local, one on the South coast. Well, I say back to back, I came back from the last 3 day Bar Work Festival on the Monday morning (I finished at 1am) with a fat envelope full of cash (minus 20% tax), so went and paid that into the bank on my way to job 2 which started at 1pm, worked until Friday, had one whole Saturday off, then went to the South coast on Sunday and worked there until Friday night, came home, on Saturday morning moved DS3 to Swansea and left him there and drove back (Dr F-H drove).

Got up this morning, cleaned and cleared DS3s bedroom - how many mugs were in there?? I stopped counting at 15, so more than that!! Stole the required paperwork for getting him on the Foreign born register for Irish Nationals - official documentation that needs all 3 of his first names plus surname. Not easy!! and luckily I rescued his GCSE certs from a pile of papers he had left next to his bin for recycling.

Idiot boy. Anyway, one clean bedroom later, I sent him a message asking if he had found somewhere to watch the football and had a message back saying he was talking to people instead, so it sounds like he has made friends already.

Folded 3 loads of clean laundry, washed all my work shirts (or so I thought until I found another white shirt in my case - boo!!) ready for Thursday and Friday this week when I am in a hotel in Birmingham for another ceremony.

I am getting Diary-itis. There is not one single solitary job in my diary for the rest of the year after 25th September. That is making me nervous. I know there are jobs going on, but I have not yet been asked to work any, I assume it is all going to be last minute again. So annoying!

Anyway, I am knackered, it won't be long until the heating has to go on, my bedroom was actually thinking about being chilly last night! and when I came out of the hotel on Friday morning, you could see your breath!!

Only 10 days til October, which is when the heating is allowed to be put on the timer again

Did a quick fridge/freezer/pantry inventory and have a small shopping list for tomorrow. Money is tight this month as I have to get £2080 to DS3 on Monday, as that is the shortfall in his rent and living expenses each semester (there are 3) for me to top up.
