Dr F-H made loads of biscuits for his end of term language class film night yesterday, so many they would not fit in his tin, so we had an overflow tin...... not one single one left when I got up this morning.  He was horrified. It is not on.

11 of the clock last night,  Himself got an email confirming his accommodation for a conference in Canada in 5 weeks is booked, can he please buy his flights.  Frantic dancing around the living room ensued.  Happy chap. He was convinced he was going to attend via Z00m.

His car failed his MOT, then got a new engine mount whatnot, then passed its MOT, then he was told there is about £400 of stuff that needs doing, and a possible weld job needed on the boot hinge thingy. So all that booked in for before we leave for his parents in a fortnight.

All very exciting in F0xh0les Towers right now.

This morning he got an email that they would book his flights so he does not have to claim that back! Very happy chap.

Woke up this morning to an offer of a day's work next month, better than nothing! But who sends work email at 5am? 
Got another one booked in for September this afternoon 
 I am coming in at a smidge* under £5000 earned this financial year. I am determined to beat that for 2025-26. 
Taking Dr F-H to the train station before 7am tomorrow, so he can go and be clever in a Northern Mill Town for the weekend. 
Things are starting to move in the right direction.

I try very hard not to see him, but sometimes he sneaks up on a political show and I wonder why anyone would pay cold hard cash for him to appear on anything.

I have done all my  Health and Safety volunteer training (I have been avoiding it for months because it is boring and sucky), so yesterday I did my manual handling, trips slips and falls (worst solicitors ever), and fire safety - nearly lost the will to live. Blimmin' thing was glitchy and a nightmare - kept starting the 'you can't pass without doing this quiz' at question 6 out of 12, so failing me,  then question 4-12, and eventually question 1-12.  Because it is not the same questions each time I think I must have done ALL the questions before it even decided to do 12 questions in a row. Anyway, it is done. It took HOURS, but as I was there, and my life was slowly sliding away from me and I wanted to die anyway,  I did the safeguarding,  unconscious bias, Display Screen Equipment, and  GDPR.  

So they can now just  funk  the very jolly funk off, I have done the training, and 99.2% was utterly irrelevant unless they are going to offer me the job they said I did not have the skills required for. 

In retaliation, I took myself off the rotas for all the days I am working, this morning I got offered another 9 days in August, and then another 2 days in September, so  the jobs are starting to come in.
